"We need innovations!"
Just in the middle of his loss in thoughts, and doing the weird patting over his tree pot, Thomas heard Lucy shout like this, as if she found a brilliant solution to all of their problems.
"What innovations?" he couldn't help but ask, and she turned and gave him a weird look, "I came from a country place," he added, giving an excuse for not knowing something that should be known by all superheroes perhaps.
"That explains it then," she paused, looking at him as if she was looking at him for the first time, "you always seem distracted and hard to approach… You came from those far places then…"
"..." he didn't know what to say in return for her words. She was the abnormal one here, one who kept talking non-stop and in weird excitement most of the time.
