"Run!" Thomas shouted when he didn't feel Lucy by his side.
"Keep going, I'm fine," her voice came a few metres behind, as she stumbled and fell over the ground. Her face, entire body and outfit got stained with the dirty waters filling the entire tunnel.
As he heard her voice, he kept running without looking back. For a moment there, he felt like the five villains would jump over the two of them, and it'd be the end by then. However this didn't happen, and he didn't think too much about the reasons behind this.
What Thomas didn't know was that the attack he launched on a whim managed to take one villain down. The agile villain ended up severely wounded, with both of her legs showing ugly wounds.
Yet she was alive, not like the blade villain who got hit directly in the chest. Thomas' superpower exploded and tore apart his chest first, turning it into ash in mere seconds.
