She knew he would come soon to pick her up, so she hurried to get ready quickly to check on Georgina before that. She felt awful that she didn't make it last night and had to see her best friend. To her surprise, Simon sat beside Georgina's bed like he had been yesterday. It was confusing to see him so devastated because why did he care so much about a woman who clearly annoyed him so much?
"Hi, Simon." She greeted him politely while moving to the other side of the bed and taking Georgina's hand.
"Hi," Simon murmured but didn't look up.
"How long have you been here? It is very early."
