Alaric was about to take a step backward, but the woman was too quick and called him out as she jumped right in front of him. "DO. NOT. MOVE."
"Please, miss, I truly did not mean any harm or disrespect. I simply wanted to-" Her arm moving to punch him interrupted his sentence. Luckily, he was skilled and moved aside so that she fell forward.
"YOUU!! How dare you?" The woman screamed at him.
"How dare I dodge your hit? I could ask you the same! How dare you try hitting me for no apparent reason?"
The woman's face turned crimson red, and she got up angrily. She was about to kick him, but he caught her leg, making her immobile. "Let go of my leg immediately or-"
"Or what? It doesn't seem like you can do much in this position." Moving backward, she had to limp forward not to fall over. His amusement about the situation made her even more furious.
"I order you to let go of my leg!"
