It took him mere moments to stand beside Eliana, taking Damien's place. Nigel was pleased about the crown prince leaving, barely able to hide his content. "What a shame they had to leave." He clearly lied.
"Yes, it must be something important." Eliana was too occupied by Damien's abrupt departure to notice Nigel's odd behavior. She was sad she wouldn't spend more time with Damien but understood that he sometimes had other priorities as Agora's future ruler. Not wanting to kill the upbeat mood, Eliana made a mental note to ask him later what had happened but would focus on her experience with her friends in the meantime.
