By orders from the principal, Raiden was absent from the institute in search of something.
This order had been made to him from the previous night as he had spent the entire night in search of what he was ordered to.
It was morning and the sun was already starting to beat down on those walking around. Raiden wasn't left out as his blue shirt was getting warmer than usual along with his black trousers.
This temperature would affect this magic user in no way as he could easily cast a spell to regulate his temperature.
"I hope it doesn't get too late before I get back. I haven't been able to achieve a complete week beating up his ass. There's always something interrupting the beatings." Raiden's complaints kept pouring out as he walked in the streets of the capital.
The tall buildings ranging from two-story to five-story could be seen all around as people walked in and out of almost all of them.
The interlocked roads provided an easier means of traversing the road as it was wide enough to accommodate four and even five carriages moving side-by-side.
Yet, the streets were busy and crowded as people went about doing their daily bidding. Some shaded items to be sold at the side of the road, some buildings opened up their shops that occupied the bottom floor and some even completely occupied by shops from top to bottom.
While some sold, many others went around purchasing from different sellers
"It's always busy no matter when I come." Raiden shook his head while he kept moving forward.
This part of the capital was lively as it held the most citizens of the capital, those termed as commoners. This area didn't take one-fourth of the capital but the population alone was over two-thirds of the entire capital.
Commoners weren't entirely treated well in the capital, unlike the other cities of the nation. This was because most nobles wanted to live in the capital so with their amassed wealth, they purchased huge land spaces and built on it with enough space remaining. Because they had purchased even the empty spaces that remained after their buildings finished, the whole area became their territory.
This happened with many nobles as many of them had territories in the capital. Even the Samiel family had theirs even if it was considered deserted at the moment.
So while a few nobles had a majority of the land, many 'commoners' as they were called, occupied a minority of the capital.
Raiden walked, his eyes moving around as he continued his search.
"Where the hell am I supposed to find the horned dog?" He murmured in a complaining tone.
Then the image of a dog having two horns entered his sight as his eyes went from one direction to another.
He hurriedly located the image again.
It was drawn on a wooden door at the end of a short street a few meters away.
"Ah~" Only now did Raiden understand the old man's words. The horned dog was a logo for a business and not the actual item he was looking for.
"Find the horned dog and only after getting one should you ask for the Orb of Empujon." Those were the instructions of the principal and since he couldn't find a horned dog both literally or in art form, he couldn't get the other item.
Now that he had gotten hold of one, the other would be quite easier to get. This was his mentality.
"I should be done before it's time for the next training session." Raiden whispered to himself, calculating how long it would take him before his return.
"I have to say though, he's growing at a dangerous rate. What can I say? He's my student." Raiden smiled proudly, vanquishing any other thoughts as he closed in on his destination, the door with the drawing of a horned dog on it.

"Well, uhm…"
"Ahem!" The principal coughed.
"The thing is…"
"I'm all ears." The principal said, nodding his head filled with white hair.
'Damn it! Why didn't I think of a situation where this happened? How do I go about it now?'
'Ahh… got it.' Seth devised a lie on the spot.
"As you can see, I've broken into Class Two."
The Principal's eyes widened, as he remembered that he had sensed a rise in Seth's man level previously. Then he spoke. "Oh, I noticed but I totally forgot about it since I've always thought of you as Class Two as even the weakest students are in that class so I just grouped you along with them."
"Congratulations on your advancement. If I remember correctly, you're still three weeks away from your birthday, right?" The principal asked Seth who nodded in response.
"That makes you the youngest one so far. You've broken yet another record." Principal Salmit smiled.
The first record Seth broke was being the youngest to get enrolled in the institute and now, he was the youngest in the history of the institute to have achieved Class Two.
"Thank you." Seth bowed politely with a grin. The table to lay down his lie was now completely set.
"How did you achieve it though?" The principal asked inquisitively.
"After the attack of the reaper, I felt the shackles holding me back almost shatter as I could feel that all I needed to completely break it and advance was more mana. I couldn't leave the institute without your permission to go hunting so I could catch and feed on beasts with mana. I also couldn't ask for your permission because you weren't around."
"Oh…"
"What was the next best step available to me? It was just of course consuming food that contained traces of mana."
"Yes, that is correct." The principal nodded as he was familiar with such matters.
"Luckily, you had left the card with me so I went to the cafeteria to get such food. I promised a friend a good meal so I brought him along and after that, I broke through."
'That should do it.' Seth chuckled inside. Conning this man brought an entirely different type of joy to him. One he couldn't describe.
"I see now. I understand."
Seth nodded, feeling accomplished.
"So~,"
"What got into you that made you pay for the food of other people? Of course, you've just gotten yourself over two hundred thousand gold coins, but if you keep spending like that, it'll all be finished before you know it."
"My apologies, it was only a one-time spending. I don't plan on spending that much on food again." Seth said, 'apologetically'.
"On food?"
'Shit! He caught on to it.'
"You still plan on spending that much on something else?" The principal stared at Seth like a strict grandfather scolding his grandson.
Seth refused to look back at the old man but he had to answer. "I said no such thing, principal."
"That's good then." Principal Salmit smiled.
He had his plans and so did Seth.
'I should just ask for permission to leave the institute now. Another reason I couldn't leave before was because I was still a level lower. It should be doable now.' Seth thought and a second later, his mouth opened as he spoke.
"Principal, I have a request. One with high importance."
"Go ahead. What's the 'high importance' request of yours?"
"After the exams are over in two weeks, I was thinking of leaving the institute for training during the break." Seth explained not in the slightest expecting the next reaction.
"Hmm?"
That's when the entire room's temperature dropped drastically as a layer of frost began to cover the walls and floor. Everything with a surface was getting frozen very fast. The biting cold eventually landed on Seth as he stared at the old man.
