After Seth finished his last class along with Taro and his new 'caretaker' Liz, he simply wanted to get back to the dorm.
Along with Taro, he headed for the dorm while Liz said she has some business to take care of.
The sun would soon set and that would mark the end of the day. They arrived at the dorm only for Seth to see the face of someone he had spent two weeks in a carriage with.
He had even seen this individual yesterday. The pressure he was emitting, crashed down on Seth and Taro whose expression seemed to be screaming that he was innocent.
"Your first private lesson began thirty minutes ago so what brings you back here?" Raiden asked Seth.
"Ahh, about that…" Seth scratched his head, thinking of how to explain.
A sigh escaped Raiden's mouth as the pressure was lifted from them. "Nevermind, come with me." He said but he was already pulling Seth away by his collar.
"You should head back, friend of Seth. He won't be back for a while and you can't wait for him either way." The newly appeared and mysterious Raiden spoke to Taro who just nodded but stood as he watched his roommate being dragged away.
Only after they had vanished did he walk into the dorm building as he heard whispers from students all around him.
"Say, wasn't that the new student?"
"I heard he's also a Samiel."
"Is that so?"
He shook his head and walked away.

"Funny isn't it?" Raiden asked Seth who stood in front of him.
"Yeah. I never expected my private lesson teacher to turn out to be you." Seth said, a bit surprised. He knew this man was going to end up tied to him during his stay in the institute but he never expected it to be in the form of a private teacher-and-student relationship.
"Me neither. When I returned to report to the old man that I was done with the task he gave me, he simply said I was just starting and ended up making me your teacher." Raiden said, slightly displeased and pleased at the same time.
"Well, if he made you teach me, he views you highly then. I'll be in your care, teacher." Seth said respectfully.
A smile bloomed on Raiden's face at Seth's behavior.
"It's not like I can disobey his orders so you shouldn't disobey mine either." Raiden began folding the sleeves of his shirt revealing thick muscles with veins snaking just beneath the skin.
"When did I bre…"
"You kept your teacher waiting in the training area for over thirty minutes. You should be taught a lesson. Don't you think so?" Raiden asked, inching closer to Seth.
"Uhm… about that. I can surely explain."
"I didn't completely go through the list of classes before leaving for my first…"
"Ahhh!"
"Shit!"
Underneath one of the numerous buildings in the Institute, Seth was being taught a lesson for being late.

The sun had vanished, replaced by a moon and many shining stars over the sky.
Something similar had happened to Seth as the air of confidence around him had disappeared, replaced by the smell of blood and many bruises all over him.
Seth staggered back to his dorm. His housemaster looked at his condition with wide eyes but remembering who came to pick up Seth a few hours ago, he held back from speaking.
Shakily, he walked into the dorm and began climbing the stairs, his body aching with each foot up the stairs.
Luckily, it wouldn't be for long as his room was on the second floor.
He walked toward the room not so far from him but at the same time infinitely far away.
He opened the door and walked in, his bruised body and face leaving a shocked expression on the face of three people in the room who he knew to be his roommates as he also saw Taro.
"What the hell happened to you?" Taro rushed to assist the staggering Seth when he saw him.
"He beat the crap out of me." Seth replied, his voice barely audible.
"Just take me to my bed. I wanna sleep. He said the bruises would be gone after a good night's sleep but I don't think it's going to be a good night for me. Still, I have to sleep." Seth walked toward his bed only taking a glance at the faces of the other roommates.
Right now, he didn't have the 'strength' to stand up right, much less chat with these two. If he woke early tomorrow, then he'd introduce himself to them. It wasn't disrespectful as the situation was quite odd.
He lay on his bed and closed his eyes to fall into sleep but life wouldn't give him whatever he wanted.
Sleep refused to come to him as he stayed on the bed groaning.
All an act to further avoid abnormalities. If he willed it, his body would've rapidly healed on his way back to the dorm. He could've even done further by not receiving any damage from the beatings of Raiden but that would be completely out of the norm.
So he acted as he groaned all night till midnight when sleep finally shut him up.
Another truth was that Raiden hadn't said a thing about Seth getting healed after a night's sleep. In fact, even he would be surprised by what awaited him when he saw Seth during tomorrow's training.
Seth was happy with this development. He hadn't been able to train in combat and after meeting this man, Raiden who turned out to be a magic swordsman, he was thrilled to get beat up more as this new body adapted to the changes swiftly.
He had a good experience when it came to sword fights but his current body wasn't his old body that had naturally harder skin.
"All's well that goes well," Seth said as he finally fell asleep a little past midnight.
His first private lesson ended up with him getting a total beating from the being that called himself his teacher.

As if the concept of magic was new to them, the other roommates of Seth watched how he had magically transformed from a battered human to a completely healthy one after just a night of sleep.
Such a thing wasn't unheard of. There were people who could do it but a fourteen-year-old wasn't one of such capable people or so they thought.
Seth had done just that.
His roommates didn't know what had happened so they assumed the injuries on him last night might've just looked extremely severe on the surface and weren't so bad. They weren't wrong but they weren't right either.
Taro looked at his new roommate with more and more interest while the other two stood in front of him examining him.
"Well, it's nice to meet you two. Rizar and Ghanjar. I'm sure you both know my name by now but I'm Seth Samiel." Seth introduced himself to the two of them.
One was an average-looking male that was sixteen years old, Rizar, and the other was a towering figure of a boy that was also sixteen. Ghanjar stood over two meters tall as he nodded at Seth's words.
Both of the other roommates were second-year students and Seth could tell their specialty as he smiled at them.
