It has begun. The old man on the floor pushed his stiff body off the ground while gritting his teeth. He had been seated in that position for a few decades now!
But now wasn't the time to care about the pain in his body. He tried standing up but fell onto the ground. A groan escaped his lips as he endured the pain whilst panting. However, his time didn't last long as he could hear faint footsteps coming from the cave entrance.
Oh no!!! Zery was here! His eyes widened in dread as she pushed himself back so that he was in the sitting position but it was futile. Seems like his body had reached its limits.
He gritted his teeth and closed his eyes. A glow poured out from his chest and time froze.
