These two lights came from his talent, one directly and another that was reflected from the floating book, but he didn't know this. When it happened to the two eggs he was already unconscious, so this would be the first time he saw it happen.
Before he or the beast had any idea what was going on, the soul contract was suddenly completed and the body of the beast was going under a rapid transformation.
He couldn't see clearly what was going on as her body was covered in a golden light, but he could sense everything that was going on, and what was happening shocked him.
"How is this possible, a beast shouldn't undergo this process until they reach the equivalent of the saint tier. But she is at most at the grandmaster tier, as someone at the peak period of her life it shouldn't be possible for her to do this."
Under the effects of the golden light, the transformation that she was going through happened rapidly, and with a bright flash it was over.
Sitting on the ground in front of him was a devilishly beautiful woman with certain strange features. She was browned skinned like he was, if a bit lighter and had no noticeable flaws. Her hair was pitch black and curly, also like his, but on her forehead were two brilliant white horns that pointed up.
One her back were a single pair of bat like wings that were red in color. And her body had him swallowing saliva and fixing his pants. She was the perfect mix between plump and fit, and the mountains on her chest only served to accentuate this even more. He knew all of this because she was naked of course.
Shooting to her feet she immediately questioned him.
"What did you do to me, human? This is not something that I should be able to do now!"
Turning away he cleared his throat before answering her.
"You were on the verge of transformation already, and I have a method that can help beasts break through this stage and I used it on you. If you are going to follow me then simply healing you isn't going to be enough." He didn't know why this happened, but he was familiar enough with his talent and the Jin clan's Golden overlord body to make a few guesses.
A beast grows differently from humanoid races and when they reach the peak of their power achievable in their birth form, known as the transformation stage, they can adopt a more suitable form. While they will have to start over from the beginning, their bodies will always remain more powerful than their peers, and when they reach a comparable power in their humanoid form they are free to switch between the two as they wish.
This doesn't usually happen with mounts or pets because beasts with such potential would not bend and be forced into a soul contract, but with the behemoth that was on the verge of transformation the boost from his talent and the golden overlord body was more than enough to push her past this bottleneck.
When a soul contract is formed the souls of the two parties are linked, so his talent must have crossed the bridge between the two of them and not only equalized her stats, and give her the little boost from his level, but also purified her body, mind and soul.
In combination with the golden overlord body it would be strange if she didn't go through transformation.
"Don't f*ck with me human, do you know how difficult it is to reach such a stage?" She yelled at him. "I don't think you know who you are dealing with here, if there was such a method don't you think that every beast would have already transformed?"
Increasing strength for a beast was as simple as eating and growing and the only trouble they would have is when it came to transformation. As long as a beast grew to maturity they would be at the peak stage for their strength, and while the level of strength would vary from beast to beast they would all have the same issue.
"And from what I know it should be a painful process, but what I went through felt more like a cool bath."
She was pressed up against him and it was making it difficult for him to think clearly, so he pushed her away and walked over to the giant hole. After transformation a beast would be considerably weakened so he was more than strong enough to push her away.
"Whether or not you believe me it doesn't concern me, for the time being you will have to follow me and it would be better for both of us if you just accept that." He turned back to look at her body. "And if you can find a way to cover up that would be much appreciated, I can't think straight."
Now that she was conscious of her appearance she used her wings to block the front of her body. "Pervert."
He couldn't deny such an accusation so he just moved on to the three sleeping beasts in the makeshift den and swiftly formed a contract with them as well. And as he expected, under the influence of his talent they also started to take on a human form.
The beasts took on the power of the peak red stage and because of how young and small they were it was more than enough to push past the transformation stage.
She was about to question how it was possible that 3 such young beasts could also undergo transformation, but the cries of her babies distracted her. They were born only a few hours ago and now that they were more human, naturally they would behave like a human newborn.
Looking at a mother embracing her children he felt a warm sensation that he couldn't remember ever feeling before.
"I still don't know her name, but that's an issue for another time. I don't even know if beasts have names in the first place. Does that mean that I would have to give her one?"
He looked over to the 4 of them, a mother that thought that she was dead crying as she held her babies. If not for his intervention there was no telling how things would have turned out.
He sighed and shook his head, glad for the 3 young ones but jealous of them at the same time. While they would only have a mother that's more than what he ever had.
In the massive hole was also the body of the male behemoth, which looked the exact same as the female and stored away its body. After a quick inspection he discovered that while most of its insides were already liquified, its bones, heart and brain were untouched.
"Jack pot." He separated the heart blood and beast core before he buried its body at the foot of the main mountain. He had no intention of taking more from its body to give her face.
He wasn't so reserved for the snake however. With a wave of his hand he striped it completely, with its heart blood, beast core and poison glands being the most valuable. The swamp tyrant wasn't that strong of a beast so its blood and bones were no different from a normal new world snake, even its meat was barely nutritious enough for him to consider it a meal. The power of its body came purely form its size.
With nothing else to do he sat down and practiced the hundred flowers cultivation method as well as look through Itroth's soul in the search for information, back when he was bargaining with Itz'tal he made a lot of floaty claims and he was hoping that Itroth could help him with that.
