"Not yet," Madam Mu shook her head, "Did your grandmother bring up your marriage arrangement with Tang Qinxue?"

"Mother wants to hear what you think."
"I have never agreed to an alliance with the Tang family," Mu Xingye stated his position.
Madam Mu had known from the start that this would be the outcome.
"Whatever you decide to do, mother will support you."
