Volume 1 Chapter 78: The Unknown Being and Information about the [Vampire] Race
Carmilla: "I will be leaving now since I can't wait for Pepper's respawn countdown timer to end. You will be alone here until I come back and re-summon Pepper. So, for the time being, you can pass the time by leveling our level 2 skills to level 3, re-explore the other entrances, or simply lay down and sleep the whole time I'm out."
Eve: "I will level up the level 2 skills to level 3 and perhaps re-explore the other entrances for anything we might have missed. Goodbye, Master. See you tomorrow."
Carmilla waved goodbye before pressing the log-out button, successfully logging out of the game.
After pressing the log-out button, her game avatar started to turn into particles before disappearing, signifying her exit from the game.
Now that Carmilla was gone, Eve was the only being left in the cave system. However, whether she was truly alone or not will remained unknown, leaving an air of uncertainty in the dimly lit caverns.
==================================
Eve began using blood magic to craft a bow before shooting arrows in random directions to gain experience points in the skill [Bow Arts].

???: "Interesting. To think that I will see this irritating skill once again, and in a newborn Vampire, no less. She seems to be a pure-blood Vampire at birth to."
In a very dark room, an unknown being was murmuring to themself with a voice that was extremely hard to distinguish. At times, it sounded male, then it shifted to female, and occasionally, it became a perplexing mixture of both male and female voices.
The unknown being should have been asleep, but when Carmilla spawned in this cave system, her appearance awakened the slumbering entity, drawn by the essence that is radiating of Carmilla's pure Vampire bloodline.
In front of the unknown being, a blood-red table suddenly appeared, and a pearl-like object began to float towards the center of the table.
Unlike Carmilla's hemisphere, the pearl-like object remained whole, and it had a remarkably clear appearance, almost resembling a mirror. However, this pearl-like object was so transparent that you could see through it to the other side.
When the pearl-like object reached the center of the table, it began to play a scene from when Carmilla first entered the initial room with the 18 entrances surrounding it.
The unknown being continued to watch as Carmilla and her clones effortlessly completed their exploration of the entrances one by one.
The unknown being sighed heavily before murmuring to themselves.
???: "Sigh, what was I thinking back then when I created this trial? Who would have thought that a Vampire would be born inside the outermost cave, and that this newborn Vampire with 'his' old [Unique] skill would be the one to succeed in completing all the trials where so many others have failed?"
The unknown being continued to rewatch Carmilla's exploration of the entrances of each trial from the beginning.
The unknown being watched as Carmilla fought, harnessed blood magic, and engaged in the battles she faced.
The battles Carmilla had fought might have been thrilling to a normal person, but to the unknown being, her battles appeared weak, and her utilization of blood magic seemed crude. It was like giving a caveman a sniper rifle and watching them use it as a club to smash things instead of using it as intended.
But the unknown being could only sigh, for himself/herself knew what it was like to be weak and crude once, struggling to harness their own skills. Unlike other vampires who were either born or turned into vampires with knowledge passed down from their parents or turner, or had access to the instincts of their bloodline, but like Carmilla this individual had faced a different path.
A vampire born from the world's mana itself lacked the knowledge to rely on, and such rare individuals had to navigate their path through trial and error or seek guidance from others to learn and grow.
However, not everyone has the privilege of being born as a pure-blood vampire. Those who are not pure-blood vampires have fewer racial skills unlocked at the start, with the extent of their abilities depending on the purity of their bloodline.
So, individuals who aren't born as pure-blood vampires start with fewer skills to train, making it easier for them to learn and use their initially unlocked racial abilities even without guidance. In contrast, pure-blood vampires have all their racial skills unlocked from the start, which means they require more time to become proficient in using these abilities.
Even if a non-pure-blood vampire can purify their bloodline, they can only achieve a purity level of up to 99.99%. This allows them to eventually unlock all the racial skills of the vampire race.
Purifying one's own bloodline is an arduous journey, as it requires progressing through various ranks, starting from a normal vampire [???], advancing to [???], [???], [???], and beyond. However, even if they manage to reach the final rank, their bloodline purification can only reach a maximum of 99.99%.
No matter how hard they try, reaching the [???] rank of the vampire race remains unattainable for them. This is where the pure-blood vampires play a significant role.
With 100% bloodline purity, pure-blood vampires don't need to expend energy purifying their bloodline or unlocking racial skills. They can focus their efforts on self-improvement. Meeting the requirements to rank up is straightforward for them, as they don't face any bottlenecks in their progression.

A pure-blood vampire's progression is akin to advancing with a rocket strapped to their back, given their incredible power and numerous advantages. However, it's important to note that pure-blood vampires are exceedingly rare, and they may not be born for decades, centuries, or even millennia, making their emergence a matter of pure chance.
Similar to how the birth of a pure-blood vampire can be exceptionally rare, the occurrence of a new pure-blood vampire being born soon after another is an unprecedented event that has not transpired. If such a situation were to arise, it could potentially lead to the vampire race achieving world domination. However, as of now, this scenario remains purely hypothetical.
Such an event could disrupt the delicate balance of the world, causing significant consequences and changes across the board.
Okay, enough with the discussion about pure-blood vampires, non-pure-blood vampires, and bloodline purity. Let's get back to the current situation.
