The quest Tyrant's downfall talked about Rex's revenge and how they had to help him kill Marquess Harry, so Finn and Sophie gladly accepted.
After looking at the new quest, they all left the mansion, heading to the slums.
Finn was starting to get bored of going back and forth, but this world didn't have phones, so he couldn't just call Blue Whale whenever he needed her for something.
On the way there, Finn also told Rex about Blue Whale and what to expect.
After arriving in the slums with the public carriage, walking through them, and then entering the backroom of Broken Pride, Finn sat down at the table.
"…Who is this?"
Blue Whale pointed at Rex, who was in Levy's body.
"The noble that ate his family."
Finn smiled at her, and Blue Whale stood up in shock.
"That madman?! And you brought him here?!"
"If you knew the entire story, you wouldn't call him that."
Finn looked at her and shook his head.
After hearing that, Blue Whale sat back down.
"Full story? Do tell."
"Not for free."
A smirk appeared on Finn's face.
"Tch."
She clicked her tongue, but she was too curious to back down now.
Part of the reason she chose to become an information broker was because she loved rumors and was always curious about those concerning the nobles the most.
"What do you want?"
So she looked at Finn, ready to sacrifice some things for the information.
"Information on Marquess Harry, servant's clothes, a blonde wig for a man, a noble woman's dress, and a brown wig for a woman."
Finn began naming all the things that he had thought of beforehand.
"…Are you done yet?"
Raising one eyebrow, Blue Whale started to think of him as a shameless person who used the fact that she liked information so that he would get what he needed for free.
"Nope. I also want you to contact the Duke and make him host a party tomorrow, to which he will invite Marquess Harry and a lot of other nobles. Another thing, contact the Marquess's chef and tell him to serve dishes consisting of raw meat and blood during the Marquess's lunch and dinner."
"…Is that everything?"
"Yep, only this."
Finn nodded with a wide smile.
"…"
But Blue Whale felt like her veins were about to pop from anger as she stared at him.
"Only this...? Only this?! Are you fucking crazy?!"
BANG
Suddenly, she slammed her hands on the table as she began screaming at Finn in rage.
"Nope, at least the last time I checked, I wasn't."
Unbothered by her fit, Finn shrugged his shoulders while maintaining his easygoing smile.
"I am an information broker, you know! Not a department store! If you need clothes and wigs, then you can go buy them somewhere else!"
She glared at him and began explaining to him what the problem was, like she was scolding a child.
"But all the stores are closed right now."
Finn tilted his head while acting dumb.
He could buy them somewhere else, but that would cost money, and why spend money when he can get them from Blue Whale for free.
"Haaaaaah…"
After a few seconds of staring at each other, Blue Whale breathed out a long sigh.
"…Fine. I will do it, but only because I am really curious about what actually happened to that man."
She pointed at Rex, who nodded, already prepared to share everything.
After that, he started retelling the story, which he had already told Finn and Sophie, but now that he knew about his father being drugged and forced to kill, he could tell the story in its entirety.
This went on for at least ten minutes, and after he was done, Blue Whale was nodding her head.
"I see, how tragic... Alright."
She snapped her fingers and the barman entered. After whispering what she needed, he nodded and left.
"Tragic? That's it? Don't you feel angry or sad?"
Finn looked at her with a raised eyebrow.
"No. Let me tell you something, kiddo. I grew up in the slums, and I saw things much worse than someone eating someone else alive. Here in the slums, you might even choose to do it yourself if you are hungry enough. So, as I said, a tragic story, but I would need to hear something much worse for it to make me feel sad or even angry."
She answered with a calm voice and then began writing something in a notebook, probably the information she had just learned from Rex.
Meanwhile, Sophie was looking at Blue Whale with a slight sense of pity.
Even she, who forgot how to show her emotions, felt sadness and anger when she heard Rex's story, so she couldn't imagine what a person would have to go through to end up like Blue Whale.
While they were waiting for the items, Blue Whale started talking about Marquess Harry.
Most of the stuff was useless, but when she said that he was being supported by the third prince, Finn felt an idea appear inside his head.
"The prince! You have to make him come to the Duke's party!"
He shouted at her, and Blue Whale nodded.
"No problem, but stop making more requests. Otherwise, you will have to start paying."
Finn nodded and smiled while thinking about his plan, which was now finally complete.
The assistant soon delivered everything, and they left the bar to carry out Finn's plan.
Rex quickly went to the house that Finn had previously found Levy in and laid down in his bed. He then left the body, which returned to its previous state.
In the morning, the assistant who was feeding Levy poison found him dead and immediately reported it to the Marquess.
Finn thought that they would leave Levy's body alone, but two guards came and buried him behind the house, so Finn had to go buy two shovels and, together with Sophie, dig Levy's body out.
Because it wasn't a living object, he placed the body in his inventory and went back to the mansion. There, he gave it to Rex so that he could possess the body again.
Then they wrote letters that made it sound like Marquess Harry was the one behind what had happened to Levy.
Once the letters were written, they placed them into envelopes and sent them to the Marquess's mansion.
After that, they had to wait until nighttime, so Finn practiced his Shadow jump to raise its mastery, and Sophie performed spear strikes.
Finn's parents also contacted Finn to say that they had arrived, but he wanted to finish the quest, so he told them to log out in an inn and wait for him to message them.
---
Soon the night came, so Finn and Rex used the cover of darkness to sneak inside Marquess Harry's mansion by using Finn's Shadow jump.
If Finn touched Rex, then he would teleport with him, so he did this to slowly teleport them closer and closer until they reached the balcony that was connected to the main bedroom.
There, they took some pig blood and wrote a message in reverse so that it would be readable from the other side of the window.
Rex then took the pig's blood and smeared it around his mouth. He also took pieces of pig flesh and put them in between his teeth.
Finn waited behind a wall, and once his Shadow jump skill was ready, he gave Rex the signal to start.
So Rex started knocking on the window.
Soon, he saw Harry wake up, grab the lantern, and walk towards him.
Harry first read the message, and after seeing the smiling Rex, he fell and started screaming for help.
Finn took this chance to quickly wipe the text away with a wet towel he had already prepared and put in his inventory when they were in their mansion. He then grabbed Rex and teleported them both away.
With that, the first part of the plan was complete, and they returned to Rex's mansion.
What Finn was trying to achieve was to make Harry's mind become fragile and lower his defenses.
During the night, Harry had a nightmare, and while on the way to the party, he began hallucinating, but Finn didn't know this because he never planned for that to happen.
It was mainly because of how scared, tired, and hungry Harry was, but if Finn knew about it, he would gladly welcome it.
---
When the party began the next day, Finn dressed up as a servant and wore a blonde wig.
Sophie wore a beautiful dress and a brown wig that made her look like a rich, noble girl.
Rex contacted Gerard, the old guard who was also Levy's friend, and convinced him to lend them his iron armor and sword.
Wearing the armor and a robe that covered it, Rex was then ready for the party to begin.
So Finn teleported them all to the party, and he went straight to the kitchen.
Because there were so many servants running around, nobody noticed the fact that he wasn't supposed to be there, and after asking the chef for raw meat, he received a tray of it.
The chef didn't care what food he would make, and if a servant asked for it, it probably meant that a noble asked for it, so he made it and gave it to Finn.
With the tray in hand, Finn ignored everyone else and went straight to Harry's table.
There, he joked about it being human meat to terrify the scared Harry even more. And once Harry got up to leave, Finn purposefully bumped into him, and his hand touched Harry's.
This way, he sent a part of Loki's consciousness inside him. He had asked Loki for permission beforehand, and because it looked entertaining, Loki immediately agreed.
Loki's consciousness that was inside Harry had to be a weak one, though. Just like Themis had one that could listen to her thoughts but couldn't talk to her, this one could speak to Harry, but it didn't know his thoughts.
Not that it mattered because its purpose was to talk to Harry, tell him to confess, and gaslight him into believing that if he were to confess, everything would be better.
Meanwhile, Sophie went straight to the prince, and because she was so beautiful, the prince immediately started flirting with her.
Rex wore Finn's hood, which made him almost invisible in darker spots and he also covered his face.
He then stood in the corner of the party, waiting for Harry to come on stage.
Once Harry entered the stage, he got cold feet, but Finn had expected him to chicken out, so before they entered the party, he told Rex to look at him and mouth the word "confess".
This was the exact word the voice inside Harry's head was also telling him, so he immediately broke down.
After that, the confession began, and after it was finished, Finn knew that the prince would try to save Harry.
That's why he positioned Sophie next to the prince, because if she were to shout "kill him" next to him, then the simpleminded nobles around her would join her, just like sheep following the herd.
This way, even the smart prince would have no choice but to go with the crowd and order Harry's execution.
And that was where Rex joined the scene.
The nobles kept shouting at the guards, telling them to go to the stage and execute Harry.
So Rex removed his cloak and quickly went to the stage before any guard could beat him to it.
It wasn't that difficult to get there first because the other knights were scared of killing a noble.
After that, Rex showed his face to Harry, which was Levy's face because he was still possessing his father's body, and finally cut Harry's head off, avenging his family.
With that, the plan was complete, and while the nobles were cheering, they didn't realize that a random servant, a beautiful noble girl, and the knight who killed the Marquess all ran away from the party at the same time.
Once they were in the Duke's garden, Finn teleported them outside the mansion's premises, and they walked towards their mansion.
Inside their mansion, they could finally take off their disguises and celebrate their victory.
The tyrant that once destroyed Rex's family was no more, and he died to Rex's vertical strike that Levy was so proud of.
