Chapter 26 - A FEAST OF BLOOD.

Damon took a coat, placed over Mandy's shoulders, took one and placed over his, as he stormed out of the room. For some reason, jealousy actually, made Andrew ears steamed, literary. Actually his was turning red at the sight of those two.

"Like why did he bother to give her a coat. Why did he even care to give her. I'm pretty sure that coat isn't hers. And look, look at that. look at that. The night gown she is wearing looks new. Something in my guts, tells me he got it for her. It made her look like something unrealistic." What was it called again, I think a doll. Ammm that recent invention." Andrew thought.

As they walked through the hallway before the stairs Mandy and the rest, found themselves, walking through the hall way before the entrance to the construction site. Had they disappeared, they didn't even went up the stairs, but now they are almost at the site. Mandy thought. Believe it or not, it was evident they did disappear. On approaching they could hear the protesting shouts, gestures, and noises of the humans as they approached. And Damon, like the last time, majestically changed his cloth.

Damon, jumped down as usual as they was a hushed silence. Among the humans, and immortals. All the immortals, floating, standing, and sitting, all turned to see their master. As one of the immortals shouted,

"Mater Damon has arrived."

But Damon raised his hands, for them not hail.

"I have arrived indeed I'm sure you awaited my presence. What is it that is your problem?"

Damon said, as he looked around, to see the humans with cutlass, axes, basically their farms and construction tools and lit fires. He just smiled, as they looked childish and stupid to him.

"Why are we being treated like this."

A tall black man in the front, leading the crowd, shouted from a distance. Next to him was a beautiful white lady. Supposed his wife. With brown hair and blue eyes.

"Your being punished."

"For what."

"You see that's the thing." Damon started speaking as he walked towards the man and the crowd. He also noticed some humans that stayed behind, watching, it seems they where not part of this.

"Being tormented and tortured and being in a twisted reality not even knowing why. I mean if you watched fantasy plays. or what is it that you humans call it again.... movies. Just maybe you would known, or understood why.

But their just mind games. To question your sanity, since I objected for physical torture. Your. Very luckily, I didn't acted on the torture and torment I had in mind. What all this immortals had in mind."

He said as he reached the man.

"So now I tell you." He commanded.

"Drop your weapons and calmly walk back." locking eye contact with the man.

"No we won't drop our weapons."

"This is your last chance."

"No we won't. Yea." He shouted and the humans shouted. "Yea."

But Damon just calmly said."

"I have given you by peace, but you refuse to accept. There is consequences for your rejection."

In the moment he added as he shouted."

"EVERY BLOOD SUCKERS, AND FLESH EATERS." "You may! have a feast."

He calmly said with a smirk.

Vampires, half vampires, wild ware wolfs, sucking spiders, viper humans, draqullers, half snakes, snake humans, hybrids pure blooded tri-brids pure bloods, and even black witches, and many more, charged like a flood of water, to feast. what they be craving for. And out of a million humans that day, exactly 5000, humans, where killed.

Manandra unable to see the devastating, and bloody sight, ran to her room crying. Few minutes later, Damon stepped in, and met Mandy crying.

"It was truly a feast of blood. And now Mandy realised the enormous difference between the humans, and Immortals. Sovereignty lied between. No amount of political or non political activities or rebellion can make any change. One little act they will wipe them all out with perfect ease and regenerate. No hope! No escape!

That's when reality dawned on her like as if she was being poured ice water. She now understood that no matter what she tries to do, no matter what it is, not matter the relationship she might think she has with Damon. He comforted her last night, so fucking what. He tried to kiss her so fucking what. Damon is an immortal and she's not. And that is the big difference between them.

She stood their squeezing her hair tight in frustration crying bitterly, when she noticed him there, she raised her head too look at him and said;

"Why. Why do they have to be killed like that."

"They had to."

"What's with you and this your parables. What do you mean they had to. Didn't you see the way the way they where killed brutally. Just because they spoke for their rights. Anyways, your not human you won't understand." Then she broke down in tears again.

"Then make me. Make me understand Manandra."

And Mandy couldn't utter a word.

"Its not worth the tears really. You cry and worry your self about people who worry less about you. Trust me, Its really not worth it."

"But"

"Promise, promise you will not shed tears." He said with his two hands on the side of her face.

"Well can object your offer? Can I deny?"

"Not to that extent you have no right."

"Ay. Is that what you say cause words can fly."

After saying that sentences, it was literally the most stupid shit, she had heard. and she didn't even no why she said it.

"Ohhh Manandra it doesn't have to rhyme." Damon Replied to the stupid shit she just said, realizing it had no meaning. They both laughed. Damon had succeeded in cheering her up.

"Ok then." Damon said as he stood up.

"Your meal will be here in about few minutes, but I will be gone for at least a day." Damon added.

"Well who I'm to say." Mandy said smiling cause she had just rhymed."

"Okay is that how you want it. So be a good girl and stay in your might." Damon said, waiting for her to rhyme back.

"Ohh for sure. That I will do. I must."

Damon was about to tell her that didn't entirely rhyme. And she knew it. So Mandy shocked him by saying.

"But least you be gone for almost a day. That's right. But you will be back for the comfort of the night."

"Ahhh yea yea. Poetic persona. Because you managed and rhymed well. Is that so." He was not going to accept that she killed it.

"Any ways, about the night. I might."

"You shocked right?" Damon added.

Mandy rolled her eyes and said; "Fine you win."

"Of course. I'm the chosen one." Damon said, still trying to rhyme.

"Its okay. Its okay."

"Ohhh Its because I have defeated you now."

"Okay going to take bath now bye."

"Mandy he called out. "Really, don't go out." Then he left.

Now Mandy felt like a total psycho. Yes he made her smile but her mind raced back to what had happened. So his just going joke with her and cover it up. All in the name of 'they also don't care about you.' Innocent lives where lost. including that of the lives of kids. How manipulative if she can can say that. But so what. She made her laugh. And at that moment she forgot about humanity. So what will you call that.....
