Manandra woke up, on the bed, and wondered how she got there. She slept sweetly. She still trying to regain her sight. She heard someone say;
"I really thought you wouldn't wake up this early."
She turned shocked towards voice. Damon was sitting on the chair, reading a book, with glasses on. Mandy, was quite, shocked. I mean, why would he be putting on glasses. She is pretty sure he doesn't need it. So she decided to ask.
"Why are you wearing eye glasses? Are they even medicated?"
"Dose it bother you?" Manandra, felt stupid. As always, answering somebody, back with a question.
"I wear it because I feel like it. I feel its more matured, and sophisticated." Damon decided, to answer her.
Matured. A young guy like him. Wait. Ohhhh. Looks are deceiving. He is already, 1billion, and 3million. Ohhh shit. What did I expect Manandra thought.
"What did you do, last night, while I was away?" He asked her. As he removed, his glasses, and closed his book."
"Nothing" Manandra replied.
"Is that so?"
"Yes"
"So why then did you cry?"
Manandra stopped in her tracks. She couldn't say anything. Did he creep in the shadows, and saw her crying. "Arhhhhhh" This man was frustrating her. "Why ask" She said in her mind. But decided to ignore him out loud.
"If you don't say the reason why, now. Don't mention it again."
"Amm, Ahhhh, Mmmmm." Mandy, didn't know what to say. And Damon proceeded to say;
"I'm not understanding....."
"Its about the humans.!!" Mandy shouted at him, and Damon, cut her sentence short by saying;
"I know what you want to say. All about your human and me, Blah, Blah, what do you want to do about it?"
So he knew what I wanted to say, but he forced me to talk, and didn't allow me to finish my sentence. Manandra blood boiled, thinking about that.
"I want to see them." Mandy, replied to his previous question.
"But the question is do they want to see you." Damon told her, and he wasn't wrong. And he had said that before.
"I'll show you their place in the palace, and how they are doing. Tomorrow you will make a choice." Damon said.
"Is that fine?" Damon asked her to assure. He was so close, to her. I mean they where both close to each other. Damon looked down to her cause he was taller.
"Okay its fine." Mandy replied, while lowering her head. Why did he even care. Manandra wondered. Why reassure.
"Okay then." He said, as he took his coat, and wore it swiftly. While Mandy, packed her hair.
Damon opened the door. Mandy passed, and Damon, went out also. They started walking and Manandra stared at him. Cause she thought, he was dumb. He left his freaking door open. Who was gonna close it for him. Definitely not her, so she said;
"Master, your door." And the door closed by itself.
"What, how" Manandra said shockingly. But Damon only chuckled and said;
"Wait did you actually think I was dumb." Well, Manandra actually thought that, but you know, that's by the way."
"Every thing within this walls, has magic in them. And of course, they use it to serve me. They know what to do. They know their place. On like humans."
And yet again Manandra was whisked back to the shocking reality, she was living in now. But what he said sounded so fucking stupid, and uselessly pride full. So Mandy, squeezed her face, and she decided to ask;
"Yea. Do they know how to lock the doors." She said mockingly.
"There is no need for that. No one dares to come in. Except there is an exception.
They walked down the stairs, and people, came to meet Damon, for one reason or the other. Some asking questions, and others giving papers to sign. Like how dose he manage, everything at once. Andrew came, and greeted the master. He was not looking happy at all to see Manandra next him.
"Good morning master."
"How are you"
"Fine as far I see you" Damon chuckled and replied to Andrew.
"Cocky as always."
Andrew laughed, and then looked at Manandy with a disgusting expression on his face. like, what she doing here.
"All the humans captured?" Damon asked.
"Yes"
"No one remaining"
"Well there is one."
"Who?"
"She" Andrew replied. As he looked in the direction of Manandra. But Damon just laughed and said;
"Ohhhh Andrew don't be folly. She's the reason your hear today. Don't worry she is with me."
"Okay then. That's all the humans. But what are we gonna do with all of them?"
"When the council arrive. They will be shared." Damon replied Andrew.
"Yes that reminds me. Any council, has reincarnated yet?"
"No. But the rest are reincarnating rapidly."
"Okay send me a chart about it later. Is there any intelligence?"
"No master, but if they where what will we do?"
"Cage them separately, and the council, will decide."
"When we come back, I'll like to see any witches, of the east end."
Damon left, and Mandy followed behind him. They went to specific section of the castle. Up stairs, where it was like a huge balcony, with no barricade to support it and for safety reason. And they saw the whole sight.
Manandra heart shattered to see how they where enslaved. Hard. Not by other humans, But something, everyone thought it was myths, and are now existing all of a sudden. And its all her fault.
Child, man, everybody, was working. including pregnant women. Is this the reality now. Ohhh let she wake up from this nightmare. She wasn't sure if she was dreaming. Would she be able to adjust to the reality, of what she is seeing. I don't get. Is this an illusion. She thought. She didn't just understand, the sight. Manandra nearly started to cry, and Damon just took one look at her, and they left.
"It seems your very emotional." Damon told Mandy, as they walked out of the building.
"No I'm not."
"You almost teared up. In fact you did tear up."
"No I didn't."
"Okay fine. But we both know the truth."
"What truth." Manandra asked. Understanding what he had said. But Damon completely ignored her, and said;
"Okay wait here." Damon said and left Manandra, in front of the castle and passed, when she saw Charles coming from afar.
"Charles." Mandy said, and Charles, stopped in front of her. His hair wasn't packed. It was just the way Mandy, had done it.
"Still on your new look?" Mandy said. Charles, laughed and said;
"Yea"
"What of the humans. Have they eaten?"
"Well I shouldn't be talking to you."
"Ohhhh you shouldn't?"
"Yea, but they haven't. And they only got an hour of rest each day."
Manandra sighed, and said; "Okay, thanks a lot. Have fun"
Charles nodded, and left. She turned to see the master coming. Did he see them. Mandy, and Damon, walked to the grand gate, to see a freaking carriage. What the hell a carriage, Manandra thought. The carriage, was brought to them, and Damon entered. Then Manandra too.
"Master, a carriage."
"Cause its better."
"What! How is this any better." Like what his deal. How will he choose a carriage over a car. Mandy thought.
"Mmmhn, lets just say am old school."
They basically, took a ride, round the city. Places where destroyed, and desolated. And she is sitting next to the very man who did It. Actually opposite, him. But dose it matter. She is with him non the less. Like is she safe. But she feels this sense of safety. Could she be really sure. Is it just her. Could it....
She didn't see a single human, and Manady eventually, got tired of staring at disastrous things. Nightmares. So she fell asleep.
She woke up and found the carriage had stop and it was freaking dark. Have they been riding all day. Guess they will never know. Actually Manandra would never know. Cause she is such a sleepy sac. That was Damon initial thoughts, when he saw her sleeping.
"Sleepy head." Damon said to Manandra, who was trying to get her sight. Ohh why. He has come again. Manandra thought. He never fail to tease her huh.
They came down. While Andrew came rushing to them. Seeing Mandy, his face twisted a little. He carries his pet every where doesn't he. He couldn't help but wonder what they did together. Ohh its nothing Andrew. He thought. She is nothing more than a pet.
"Sir, only three witches of the east end has come. And they have been waiting."
"Ohhhh. My apologies. Tell them I'll see them tomorrow."
Yes that's one thing about the prince. Demons don't even apologise, for any reason. But he did. Andrew left, and they went straight, to Damon's room.
