In the Glade: Adrian,
Adrian was just as surprised and concerned as Hollow. He had finally begun to use elemental mana and was now almost level 8. He assumed he had nearly caught up with Hollow. Due to his group size, he had actually managed to accumulate a significant amount of uncommon gear. Seeing as Hollow was all on his own, his being awarded by the system made no sense. Deciding to worry about the obvious problem, for now, he focused on grinding levels.

Two capsules appeared in front of Hollow. Still quite shocked about the sudden explosion of notifications, it took a few seconds for him to register what had happened. When it finally did an expression of fear and hopelessness was clear on his face. He was already sure that killing the [Giant Red Salamander] was a fluke. Now there were 3 more monsters like that. How was humanity going to survive? Starting to panic, Hollow took a few deep breaths.
Deciding to take it a step at a time, Hollow looked at the two extra capsules he had been awarded. Poping both open he was covered in a light purple and deep blue light. Quickly analyzing both items he was surprised by what he saw.

- All Mele damage has an extra 5% pierce.

Happy with the overall improvement that this belt gave him, as it assisted his lacking dexterity stat.
The other item was quite interesting, it was his first normal semi-epic item.

- Increases stealth
- +4 to all stats
- Defense 4
Seeing two more items that could be enhanced by Runes, Hollow began to get more excited. He decided to use the minor rune of Endurance on the belt. His first attempt resulted in complete success. The new item was radically improved.

- All Mele damage has an extra 5% pierce.

He decided to use the minor Rune of Power on [Greaves of Night] since he needed any and all extra damage he could get. When he attempted to use the Rune on the greaves a fundamentally different reaction occurred. They had Ranked Up.

Overjoyed for the new changes in his items, Hollow began to prepare to get the little remaining exp needed for level 10. A level that he assumed would bring drastic changes.
