Li Yu dipped his hand into his pocket to bring out the money purse only to see his fingers peeking out on the other side of the cloth. He immediately realized what had happened. He looked at the Prince who also had a look of comprehension.
They were in an open place in the compound of the Icecrest. Some other small tables surrounded them. People that couldn't afford rooms would usually stay at this place in the compound, otherwise, the workers would allocate tables here to people when the floors inside were occupied.
The Prince really wanted to scream out but he looked around and suppressed himself.
"damn it!... that troublemaker is really in for trouble" he swore angrily as he understood that their purse had been stolen by the pickpocket they had a brief encounter with
"what do we do now your highness?..."
"I will see the owner of this place, what harm could few drinks do?"
"I will inform the worker when he returns"

Up at the balcony, Lu Kang had gone into the restroom to answer nature's call. Su was alone, waiting for him.
By chance and some credit to his alertness, he sighted some movements at the roof of another house opposite Icecrest. He narrowed his eyes and clearly saw two masked men; one of them positioning an arrow. He traced with his eyes and realized the shot was intended for one of the men at the table downstairs; specifically the one on the brown hat.
His eyes widened; 'these men were at the gate earlier talking to a worker, now they are targeted, they definitely aren't ordinary men'.
Without wasting time, Su jumped off the high floor and headed for the men still discussing downstairs in full speed.
Almost at the same time, the masked man with the arrow fired a shot at the Prince which moved at crazy momentum.
Su arrived there with incredible speed at managed to block off the arrow.
The Prince and Li Yu opened their eyes wide in great shock...
"are you alright?" Su asked the Prince who managed to give a nod. He seemed really shaken.
"ATTACK HIM!!" The leader of the enemies realized that their first plan had failed and did not waste time to launch a complete attack on the Prince.
They had been instructed to 'do or die'.
Different masked men with swords jumped out from hidden places and rushed towards the trio.
