"Are you sure you don't want to see your son?" I asked him as he carried me into our room.
"I do, but first, I want to be back with my wife. I've missed you so much while I was gone." he replied, his voice husky.
Quill had been so excited to see me again, he didn't even let me greet the pack, taking me straight to our room where he shooed the maids away.
He kissed me like he was a dying man, and I kissed him like I was bringing him back to life. I don't know how he managed, but one moment, he was holding on to me, and the next, I was nude, my gowns and top shoved on the side of the floor of the bed, his large hands touching me everywhere.
Though he had scars lined up on his arms, and I know how strong he was, I could feel him be gentle with me, his touch lingering in more places than one.
