The plant was strange looking but beautiful at the same time. And it also glowed.
It had its own space from the garden, and I could see why. The roots of the plants were half in half out of the ground, and somehow managed to smell liked both honey and lilac at the same time.
I touched it and when I did, the little plant glowed a bright blue before the color of the petals went purple.
Quill smiled as he looked at it.
"What does that mean?" I asked him.
"The flower can detect the emotion you're feeling in your heart. Right now, its saying that you're feeling the emotion of love." he explained, and I could feel my face go red.
"Quite possible." I answered, the flower staying purple, even as I removed my hand from it.
"Why are you shy, it makes me quite happy that you could still love me." Quill teased, tracing my face with his hands.
"You say it as if I could ever stop loving you." I replied softly, holding on to his hands.
