I felt like I was breaking a sweat for no reason.
Quill must have noticed how tense I'd gotten because I felt his hand on my shoulder, and Ainhoa, and Andras approaching us.
Even King Dane, and Lady Liv took a step back, as if they could feel something else going on.
"I thought you left." Andras asked Ainhoa, who had paled at the sight of him. She mumbled something back in response, and Andras's face tightened.
"Seems like a rather strange way to continue on a party." Quill interrupted, making Ainhoa blush, and Andras lose focus on her.
King Dane seemed to be studying the both of them with an intense expression, his eyes landing on Ainhoa more.
"Can I interest you in a dance?" Lady Liv asked Andras, and he did a double take at the sight of her, taking her hand as they both went off to the dance floor.
King Dane gravitated towards Ainhoa, and then offered his hand to her.
She took it, and away to the dance floor they went.
