Instead of having a usual bath with the basin, Quill leads me off to a small stream that has crystal blue water. I'm a little wary and rub the tattoos on my wrists without thinking.
Quill notices and grabs both of my hands with his.
"I promise you, there are no kelpies here. There's too much light, and there's magick here that repels them from entering." Quill explains, kissing my fingertips.
"How did you know I was thinking of that?" I asked, my face heating up.
"You rubbed your tattoos, and they use to be the bracelets you got from catching those kelpies." Quill said, and I ducked my head down, embarrassed.
But it was nice to be assured, and even nicer that he wasn't teasing me too harshly about it. He pressed a kiss on my temple, then pushed a metal cart near the stream.
