As we headed back to the estate, I saw Quill finishing up with some farmers. He laughed at something the farmer had said, before letting him go.
From afar, I admired him, the strength he had in his shoulders, his muscled neck, and it helped that I knew how he looked without-
"My lady, you're ogling so openly." Lip piped up, hiding a laugh.
I turned to him, unaware that he was still walking alongside me. I thought at the sight of his Alpha, he'd dismiss himself, and join the others.
"I wasn't ogling, I was simply-"
"But there's nothing wrong with ogling your husband." A voice said behind me as arms were wrapped around my waist, and lips touched my neck.
I jumped, seeing Quill's amused face, a blush hinting on my own. "It's not what you think!" I tried to say, but Quill only laughed, Lip chuckling a little.
Annoyed, I pulled free from Quill, hands on my hips.
