When I opened my eyes, this time I was in bed. I tried to sit up, but a strange dizziness washed over me, and I settled back down.
Water, and a small plate of cookies was placed on the table next to me. I snatched the glass, drinking the water down greedily.
Thirst finally under control, I took a small bite out of a cookie, throwing the blankets off my body. I stared down at myself in shock; somehow, I lost so much weight, that I could see more of my bones. I stretched out my arms, frowning at the sudden loose skin, and the way my wrists were looking daintier.
"What happened to me?" I whispered, turning my arms this way and that.
"When your soul gets almost taken away, a bit of your life is reduced including your body." Lip said as he entered, holding a platter that contained meat, green beans, chopped up potatoes, and fruits, and sweets.
