Valeria was in the kitchen preparing breakfast for the mother and daughter reconciliation feast when Daisy enter the kitchen angrily.
"How dare you interfere in my family's business?" Daisy shouted angrily
"I didn't mean to" Valeria said calmly
"You ain't satisfied with the insult? You want credit for bringing I and my mother back? Take your flowers miss perfect" Daisy shouted angrily
"I didn't mean it the way you took it yesterday Daisy" Valeria said calmly knowing she's hurt
"You didn't mean it? I really don't care but please leave my life and my family alone" Daisy said angrily
"I'm sorry for interfering in your family's issue and I'm deeply sorry for yesterday but I want you to know she's more hurt than you are" Valeria said and walk to rinse her hand so she can leave. Daisy who has been holding her tears since she saw her transformed mother burst into tears and Valeria was forced to console her.
"She didn't leave me all by myself, I isolated myself first and now I'm making her look like the criminal while I'm the victim" Daisy said with tears as Valeria console her.
"Crying won't solve it anymore, you need to talk to her now" Valeria replied afraid that Zarah will change her mind and Daisy run out of the kitchen. Daisy run inside her mother's bedroom and hug the crying Zarah
"I'm sorry Mom" She said between sobs. Zarah hug her back tightly and they cry without saying anything to each other, after few minutes of hugging and crying they sit on the bed.
"Mom, I don't want you blaming yourself for my mistake, I shouldn't have isolate myself when Dad left, I should have been strong for you and make your life colourful" Daisy said wiping her tears
"I'm sorry too my flower" Zarah said with a smile. They hug each other again before going to the kitchen to meet Valeria who has finish making breakfast.
"What are you making?" Zarah said as she enter the kitchen
"My signature toast bread, Daisy can testify" Valeria replied dishing the toast bread
"Yes Mom, she makes the best toast bread in the whole of Skokie, I still wonder why she hasn't start selling it" Daisy said and they all laugh
"I think she should be a makeup artist" Zarah said and Daisy shake her head
"She's a girl of many talents Mom" Daisy said
"Miss perfect as you called me earlier let my aunt eat" Valeria said and they all laugh. Zarah and Daisy sit while Valeria serve their food, she gave Zarah more toast bread and the only smoothie she made earlier.
"Where's my smoothie?" Daisy asked acting angry
"Drink tea or coffee" Valeria replied and Zarah chuckle
"Why? Why can't I have smoothie like Mom?" Daisy asked still acting angry
"Aunt needs all the nutrient she can get so I will give you the ingredients for the smoothie, make fresh ones everyday" Valeria replied and Daisy pout
"I'm your friend not her" Daisy said with jealousy and Zarah watch the girls argue
"She's my aunt not you" Valeria replied chuckling at her behaviour
"She won't have become your aunt if she's not my mom" Daisy protested
"And you won't have be my friend if she didn't give birth to you" Valeria replied and Daisy became speechless.
"You girls are fun to watch" Zarah said drinking the smoothie
"Did you make this or bought it from a restaurant?" Zarah asked drinking the smoothie again
"I made it Aunt" Valeria replied
"This is six star" Zarah said and Valeria blush
"Why don't you think of a food business?" Zarah asked
"Maybe I will take up one to support my parents while in school" Valeria replied still unsure. They continue to talk and when it was afternoon Valeria decided to go back home.
"I will come visiting again Aunt" Valeria said looking at Zarah who is feeling reluctant to let her leave. All Zarah could do was nod so she won't tear up, she has become attached to her. Valeria hug her and Daisy before leaving.

The mother and daughter reconciliation was the best highlight of Valeria's day. She couldn't wait to get home and tell her mother.
"I'm back home" Valeria announced as she enter the house
"Welcome back" Francis greeted her and she smile at him.
"You are still angry since last week" Francis said moving closer to her
"I'm not Francis, I'm only avoiding your shenanigans" Valeria said and walk past him
"I'm sorry Valeria" Francis said and she stopped
"I'm not angry, I just don't want you teasing me" Valeria replied not looking at him and she walk away. She walk directly to her parents room and her mother was there sorting out the clothes she brought from the city.
"Your brother said he's sorry" Geraldine said as soon as she notice Valeria in the room
"Mother please, let Francis and I be in our space. I don't want me getting angry at every little thing he does" Valeria replied sitting on the rug in front of her mother
"Ignoring him won't solve your differences" Geraldine said still sorting out the clothes
"Obviously mother but it can help us in not clashing again because if he should do anything to get me angry again I won't forgive him" Valeria replied helping her sort the clothes
"Your decision but I don't want my children fighting" Geraldine said
"So how was Daisy's place?" Geraldine asked leaving her to sort her issues with Francis. Valeria explained everything without leaving a detail about what happened at Daisy's house, Geraldine was surprised and proud too.
"I'm proud of you my child" Geraldine said proudly
"Thank you mother, I felt so bad for Daisy" Valeria replied smiling
"That's what I tell you always and what we still talked about this morning, you don't know what others are facing, your speech, your action can bring out the pain they've been trying so hard to forget. Aside that, some people can't sacrifice for you because they've sacrificed so much in their life and still didn't yield anything" Geraldine said and Valeria nod in support
"I will give you some clothes and nutritious dishes to take to her tomorrow morning" Geraldine said and Valeria hug her happily
"You should reconcile with your brother and Dennis too, do what you preach" Geraldine said smiling
"I will when I feel like" Valeria said and they continue to sort out the clothes without saying a word about Dennis or Francis.
