William "Billy" Isaac Jackson Cranston, The Third:
Billy Cranston is Earth's first Mighty Morphin' Blue Power Ranger, with the power of the Triceratops. He was the only Ranger to never give up his power-set, and the only Original Ranger to stay throughout the entire Mighty Morphin' Era. When an experiment with the Power Coin Regenerator went wrong, Billy moved to Aquitar with the Aquitian Rangers, in 1995, for treatment, eventually being cured of the problem after 10 years. Currently 66 years old, Billy is a retired Power Ranger, but he will be the mentor of the Rising Guardians Power Rangers. His Blue Power Coin was restored by Ninjor decades ago, for the Legendary Battle, and thus, Billy is able to keep his Morphin' Powers. At Crystal Cove High School, Billy teaches Advanced Calculus, Advanced Chemistry, and Advanced Metallurgy. When Tommy Oliver died of a heart attack five years ago, he was devasted, and attended the funeral in Angel Grove. He is also openly gay.
Zemariah Stormlight:
Zemariah Stormlight is the daughter of Zordon, the founder of the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers, Great Sage of Eltar. She was born 12,000 years ago, just 2,000 years before her father was entrapped in the energy tube, and fought in the Countdown to Destruction that ultimately ended with her father's sacrifice. As an Eltarian, she has an extremely long life span, and stopped physically aging when she was only 17 years old. She has traveled all over the world, but settled down for the time being in Crystal Cove, with her mother, Zanaria Stormlight, and Zordon's wife. As an Eltarian, she has purple skin, and pointed, Elf-like ears. She inherited her father's propensity for cosmic magic as well, which allows her to, among other things, manipulate starlight and the stars themselves, communicate with Spirits in the Morphin' Grid, and several other abilities that will be revealed in time. She is currently a senior at Crystal Cove High School. With her lack of aging (as Eltarians age extremely slowly compared to Earthlings), she is able to blend in to most high schools. She will become the Red Dragon Rising Guardians Ranger. Thanks to her galactic travels as a young girl, she is also fluent in several alien languages, aside from her native Eltarian. Upon Morphing for the first time, she will have the ability of Pyrokinesis. She's the tallest, standing at 6'5", and she is openly bisexual.
Halcyon Jones:
Halcyon Jones is the Rafkonian daughter of Tarrick and Santaura, and younger sister to Amelia Jones, the current Dino Fury Pink Ranger. As a Rafkonian, she has antennae, and telepathy, and the ability to share her memories and read the mind of any living thing with a conscious, including artifacts such as the Ninja Nexus Prism. Her parents were formerly known as Void Knight/King, and Void Queen, the leaders of the Sporix Army in 2021-2022. Rafkonians age slower than Earthlings do, and thus, Halcyon is about 17 or so when the story begins, a junior. She will become the Pink Gryphon Rising Guardians Ranger, with Aerokinesis. She's the second tallest at 5'9", and she is a lesbian.
K'Ahnia, Daughter of Shuri, Daughter of Namor, Crown Princess of Wakanda and Talokan:
K'Ahnia is the daughter of Namor and Shuri, and a mutant like her father. She is 15 years old when the story starts, a sophomore at Crystal Cove. K'Ahnia is the granddaughter of T'Chaka and Ramonda, Niece to T'Challa, and the future Black Panther. K'Ahnia has pointed, Elf like ears, and wings on her ankles, like her father. Her parents fell in love a year after their initial battle, and soon enough, K'Ahnia was born. She attends Crystal Cove as she is fascinated with America, and Shuri sent her daughter to live with Everett Kenneth Ross, an old friend and retired CIA operative. K'Ahnia is a right little spitfire, and always has a sarcastic and snarky zinger for nearly every situation. As a Talokanil Mutant, K'Ahnia can breathe underwater, and absorb oxygen through her skin like her father. Although she's tiny, she's also strong enough to physically punch through Vibranium itself. She is in perfect control of her super strength and flight, and she's fluent in Xhosa, Igbo, and English. She will become the Blue Wolf Rising Guardians Ranger, with Hydrokinesis. She stands at 5'6", and is bisexual.
Irene Garcia:
Irene Garcia is the daughter of Izzy Garcia, and her wife Fern Martinez-Garcia. At the time of the story, she is 16 years old. Like her mothers, she is completely gay, and only interested in other women. She's a track super star, and captain of the basketball team. She's extremely athletic and acrobatic, capable of performing gravity defying flips and kicks. Like her mother before her, Irene will become a Green Ranger. Specifically, the Green Hound Rising Guardians Ranger. As a normal human, Irene has no special powers, aside from the ability of Terrakinesis upon Morphing for the first time. She matches K'Ahnia in height, standing at 5'6" exactly.
Kamari Kaia Oliver:
Kamari is the daughter of Tommy Oliver, and Katherine Hillard-Oliver. She is 15 years old, a Sophomore on the team. She is a mix of both of her parents, but Tommy's recklessness tends to win out more often than not. She was 10 years old when her father died, and she was absolutely heartbroken. She turned mute for a while, and didn't start speaking again till she was 13, having turned severely depressed. She broke out of it, mostly, with the help of her mother. Kamari inherited her father's invisibility, thanks to his Dino Gem mutation. She will become the Black Rising Guardians Black Lion Ranger, with Shadow/Darkness Manipulation. These days, Kamari embraces rage in a productive way, by taking free martial arts classes at the Crystal Cove Martial Arts school. One day, Kamari wants to join the United States Space Force, as she's a rather big astronomy nerd. She also takes after Tommy in looks, though she speaks with her mother's Australian accent. She stands at 5'7", and is bisexual.
Kalani Kapule
Kalani is a young Hawaiian girl, 17 years old at the start of the story. From the Big Island itself. She lives with her mother, a woman by the name of Aolani. Unbeknownst to everyone aside from the principal of Crystal Cove, Kalani is a Hawaiian demigoddess. Her birth father is Kaha'i, God of Thunder and Lightning. While Crystal Cove High School is a place for all outcasts of the world to gather, the mutants, the demigods, aliens, and anyone who doesn't fit in, a safe haven. Kalani kept this secret, because she fled Hawaii with her mother three years prior to the story. She has great control over her powers, but when she was cornered and nearly raped, she killed a man in self defense. However, this act has haunted her, and she has thus vowed to never use her powers again. The only person who knows about this incident, besides her mother, is the Principal. He granted her refuge, and she is grateful to him. She will be chosen to be the Yellow Rising Guardians Owl Ranger, with Bronto/Electrokinesis. She stands at 5'5", and is bisexual.
Melanie Daniels:
Melanie Daniels is the daughter of the Grid Battleforce Red Ranger, Devon Daniels. Born 14 years ago, she is the youngest of the team. Thanks to her father's genetic mutation when he became a Power Ranger, she has inherited both his cheetah super-speed, and his weakness of freezing whenever she sees a dog. She loves video games and martial arts just as much as her father, and is skilled in both areas. She keeps up with all the video game trends, and is a massive anime nerd, her favorites being Dragon Ball and Fairy Tail. She's also the shortest of the team, standing at 4'9", and is a lesbian. In terms of martial arts, she's skilled in Tae-Kwon-Do (Green Belt), Shotokan (Orange Belt), Krav Maga (Orange Belt), and Karate (Green Belt). She will become the White Dragon Rising Guardians Power Ranger, with the power of sunlight manipulation.
Principal Alexander Liam Axel, PhD, EdD, EdS:
Alexander Liam Axel is the imposing, stern, and no nonsense Principal of Crystal Cove High School, having worked there for eight years now, the exact amount of time it's been open. He opened the school to be a safe haven for demigods/goddesses, aliens, anyone who needs it. Alexander comes across as stern and aloof most times, but he's actually a good man with a great heart. He always leaves his door open for any student that needs to talk about their problems, and he's very fair. He has a slow, smooth style of speaking, and most of the female staff have a crush on him due to how handsome he is. He is 6'3", and happily married. He's a skilled martial artist, knowing Shotokan, Karate, Aikido, Boxing, Judo, Arnis, and lastly Southern Dragon Kung Fu. He used to own his own dojo, years ago, before he opened up Crystal Cove High School. He's a son of Hecate, and used his magic to enshroud the school in an impenetrable barrier that nothing could break through.
