Chapter 29 - Psychokinesis.

I left Anna's room and went into mine. Then I asked the guide about how I could reach the 4th circle.

"Query! how will I reach the 4th circle?"

[Required FP: 400]

[Answer to query: You can reach the 4th circle when your WIS is above 40. Currently, your WIS is 34. To increase WIS, learn more things about Mana. You have already deduced what Mana is and how spells are cast, but your knowledge is still incomplete. You are correct about assuming that Mana is a virtual particle and can mimic any property of real matter, depending on the magic sigil created by the sorcerer or mage. But you still lack the basic knowledge about mana. There are 3 types of Mana: Normal Mana, Dark Mana, Death Mana. Normal mana is used for normal magic, dark mana is used for dark magic and sorcery, death mana is used for necromancy. There are several 'Viens' throughout the world of Arcadia where the density of Mana is much higher than others. To reach the 4th circle, you need more dense Dark mana than anywhere. You can find this in the 'Hollow Crystal Lake.' The information about the lake is being imported to your brain. Go there and create another mana circle around your heart. You will also need another Elixir, named 'Intermediate Mana Elixir' to temporarily boost your mana sensitivity high enough for you to be able to weave your 4th circle.]

The Hollow Crystal Lake was an underground lake inside a dungeon named, "Treant Lord's Dungeon". It was a dungeon created by the demigod of the forest, the Treant lord. It seemed like the power of the Treant Lord was even higher than five 9th circle sorcerers combined.

It seems like the Treant Lord had grown very old and too big to support it's own weight, so it had created a dungeon where it went into eternal rest.

The lake was quite deep inside the place and the main type of monsters in the dungeon are insect-type and plant-type, mostly fungus and parasitic plants, feeding off the colossal corpse of the Treant Lord.

I would definitely need some very good armor. Magic is very useful, but some monsters are very resistant to magic. In that case, I would need some way to deal physical damage to the enemies.

Gravity Magic dealt physical damage, but I didn't have a good offensive gravity magic spell.

"Query! How can I learn more offensive magic that deals physical damage?"

[Answer: Learn the spell "Psychokinesis".]

"Just One spell took 500 FP?!?!?", I wasn't very happy with that. Although the spell's effects had changed my mind completely.

It was a spell that created a core of mana with the "Gravity" property inside the object that I wanted to use psychokinesis on, and I could control the core's shape, size, and position inside the object. After I had placed the core in the desired position, I could control the object in whatever way I wanted.

I could create sharp objects made of metal and control them using psychokinesis to attack the opponent.

This combined with an inverted Dark press would lighten the object's true weight, making it even faster and better.

Now, I just needed the custom-made sharp objects, the armor which Anna was making and the Intermediate Mana Elixir.

I went outside my room, told Anna I was leaving and went into the street.

I only had about 300 FP left, so I didn't want to waste it. I went straight to Lorraine's shop and got myself the Potion.

"Do you know anywhere I can get some custom weapons made?", I asked Lorraine as she was placing my order inside a bag with an annoyed look on her face.

"Why? weren't you a sorcerer? why do you need weapons for?", She asked.

"I'm going to the Treant Lord's dungeon for some things. I need them for dealing physical damage.", I replied.

"What?! The Treant Lord's Dungeon?! That's one of the hardest dungeons in the whole world!", she said with a concerned face.

"That's why I'm gonna place an order of 30 top grade Healing potions right now. I need them by next week.", I told Lorraine.

Hearing this, she became red with anger but couldn't say anything back to me.

"Don't worry, I'm not a demon. I'll bring you some souvenir from the dungeon.", I tried to calm her down. I didn't really care about what she thought of me, but if she decided to make the health potions half-assedly, I might die in the dungeon.

"You Better!", she said while still pouting. Her anger had quieted down a little.

"You can go to the 'Theodore's Blacksmithing Stall' for the weapons. Although, you'll have to pay a lot of money to get it if you don't have the metal for it...", she recommended.

"Thanks, I'm off then.", I took the bag and went to the place she mentioned.

After asking a few people for directions I arrived at the place. It was a 2-storey building, with walls made of bricks and the edges were fortified with wooden poles. There was a glass window that was shut, in the left of the door. On top of the door, there was a sign that said, "Theodore's Smithy." in dark brown color, contrasting the light brown color of the sign.

I went inside the place and saw a counter where there was a little man with a lot of crimson-colored beard and a green hat, sitting on top of a high chair, smoking a pipe.

'A dwarf...?', I thought.

"Whadd'ya want?", he said. He had a very seasoned voice.

"I'm here to make a custom order. I don't have the metal as I have no knowledge about metals, but I have the money.", I said while walking towards the counter and bringing out a paper with some drawings on it.

As soon as I got around 2 ft close to the dwarf, he suddenly snapped and looked at me dead in the eye, saying, "You're.... a Sorcerer....".

He had a very displeased look on his face, although it was hard to tell through all of that beard.

"Yes, I am. Lorraine sent me here. She said I could get what I wanted here.", I said in the same monotone voice.

After hearing Lorraine's name, he calmed down a bit and said, "Oh, so you're the sorcerer she keeps talking about...".

"Keeps talking about...?", I asked.

"Ah, She is a regular customer here, she comes here to buy various metals and alchemy tools. She said, 'Recently I have been in touch with a weird fellow... He's a sorcerer, but he's not so bad, y'know... and... he's super handsome...' and she'd always get into a weird mood while mentioning you. Well... I now know why she thinks you're handsome."

'Again with the Handsome thing! Am I really that handsome?! I never got complimented about it before, back on earth... well, I didn't really meet a lot of people on earth... I should ask Anna what she thinks of me...', I got a bit flustered inwardly, but maintained my stoic expression on the outside.

"ahem, anyways, will you take the request?", I asked the dwarf.

"yes, give me the blueprints and tell me the details. I'll make it for you.", he answered affirmatively.

"Sure. Here it is.", I gave the paper to the blacksmith.

The blueprint was of a flat disk with 100 sharp teeth on it's circumference. It looked like a circular saw.

"Fine. It'll get done within 2 weeks. The charge will be 20 gold coins.", he said.

"I have 1 gold coin right now. I'll give the rest through the week and complete the payment on the day I get my product.", I said.

"Sure, sounds reasonable."

The next 2 weeks, I didn't take a break. I ate twice in a restaurant with Anna, and had sex with her 3 times to keep her libido in check. But apart from that, I was constantly taking requests from the adventurer's guild and completing them as fast as I could.

Also, I asked Anna if she thought I was Hansome, and she replied, "AAH! yeah... MMH! you... ARE! YES! that's good! Keep Thrusting! Harder!"

'I asked her in a bad time, didn't I?'
