Chapter 9 - 2nd Circle is So much better.

I had quite a lot of FP now from killing ants. So I figured, why not use it all and ask how I can get the 2nd Circle.

"Query! How can I get to the 2nd Circle?"

[Required FP: 250]

[Answer To Query: For a 1st Circle Sorcerer, To get to the 2nd circle, you need to have at least 20 MAG and 20 INT. Then, start gathering more mana, in the exact same you did to get to the 1st circle. But this time, instead of pulling the mana into your heart, pull it into your 1st circle. After a threshold has been crossed, Mana will start leaking out of the circle in all directions. Collect all the mana in one thread and keep spinning the thread as it collects more mana from the 1st circle and grows in length and girth. When the thread has gotten big enough to circle around your heart, sever the attachment from the 1st circle and connect the thread's tail and mouth. Stabilize the circle by putting it in a position where it doesn't overlap with the first circle. That Is how you can create your 2nd circle.]

"Seems complex... Lets give it a try!", I was determined to get the second circle.

I found a pretty cozy little spot to enter. It was like a little pocket in the wall of the tunnel. I went inside and sealed the exit with 'Rock Wall', but made sure there were ventilation holes present, so I wouldn't suffocate to death.

I then started the 'Syringe' method of injecting mana into my veins that I optimized for even more efficiency by injecting 'Syringes' in my neck and spine as well. It was an ugly sensation, but it was something I was familiar with, since I had done this before.

It took a while to reach full capacity for the 1st circle. I could sense the circle getting thicker and heavier as I injected more and more mana into it. After about 2 hours of Injecting mana into the 1st circle, it was full and started overflowing.

The mana was leaking from all over the circle. It was really difficult to collect all of the mana. It required unreasonable amounts of concentration. But I had actually done something similar before, like forcing myself to lucid dream, so that I could escape the boring reality, fighting very difficult bosses under-leveled in souls-games, and even building a huge castle of cards.

I focused and started to collect all of the little strands of overflow mana that was leaking out of the first circle and started to weave a thread. This continued for at least another 5 hours. 5 hours was nothing to me, as I had even concentrated hard on defeating bosses for 17 hours straight.

After excruciatingly weaving the thread, I finally severed the part that connected it to the 1st circle and joined the thread's both ends. Then I had to make sure that all the mana inside the 2nd circle was moving in the same direction, and put the circle into a stable orbit, so that it wouldn't collapse onto my heart and put me through great pain.

After all of that, I had finally managed to get my 2nd circle. The second circle still didn't have as much mana in it as the 1st circle, so I decided to go outside and absorb some mana from some dead ant corpses. One thing I realized was that, I could specify which circle I want the absorbed mana to go to, in other words, I could charge the circles separately.

Both of my circles had a Dark-Purple color to them, most probably because they were created and stored dark mana.

Anyways, with 2 circles, comes a lot of benefits, the greatest of them being that, 'Dual Casting' was now possible. Although the power was lacking compared to casting one spell using both the circles, casting 2 spells at once opened up a lot of possibilities. I could combo enemies with chain spells.

For example, I could cast 'Water Wall' and 'Electrocute' at the same time, and lure enemies into it, electrocuting them. Or, I could use 'Pebble Bullet' on a miniscule scale, creating dust and adding it to 'Wind Blade' to make the spell even deadlier.

My mind began to run wild with possibilities and simulations.
