Cole's pov
15 minutes later, Jac walked into the room and closed the door behind her. She had papers in her hand but I didn't know if the marriage contract was among those papers.
"Did you talk to her?" I asked anxiously as I got to my feet.
"Yes I did?" Jac replied.
"What did she say?"
"She didn't like it when I told her what you were, she was frightened," Jac told me nervously.
"She's scared of me, she doesn't want me does she? I knew she'd say no," I said sadly. It was stupid of me to ask for her hand in marriage but she really is the one. I guess I can't have her and should go home to get back to my miserable life but how will I live without my soul mate? I was all prepared and all, I have everything she'll need to look after me at home which will all go to waste now.
"Cole s-" Jac began to say but I cut her off.
"It's ok, I understand. She's a Vampire and wants to marry her own kind, not a Demon like me,"
"Cole she agreed to marry you," Jac said quickly before I could say anything else.
"What?" I asked in confusion.
"She agreed to marry you, she signed the contract," Jac showed me the contract which clearly displayed a signature.
"That's her signature? The girl that I told you about, the one who was in your office earlier?" I asked to make sure I had the right person.
"Yes, this is her signature," Jac confirmed as I grinned like a fool. I can't believe it, I'm getting married after all.
"How did you get her to sign it?"
"I convinced her you wouldn't harm her and that I knew you well enough to know you would treat her well,"
"Thank you Jac. I will never forget this, I am forever in your debt," I vowed. Seriously, Jac changed my life forever for the better and she'll receive whatever she wishes without question.
"There's no need for that, just take good care of her. Don't ever hurt her because she's been through enough," Jac told me.
"What do you mean she's been through enough? What happened to her?" I swear if anyone hurt her, I will kill them if they aren't dead already.
"It's not my place to say but if things go well then I'm sure she'll tell you herself when she is ready," She'd better tell me or I will go crazy thinking of what could've gone on in her life. I should have asked Jac for her name because I keep saying her and she but I guess I'll find out when my wife introduces herself to me.
"I hope so,"
"Ok Cole, you just need to sign the contract and once you do, you'll be married,"
"Ok," I said and was about to sign but Jac stopped me.
"You should take a seat first, we don't want you to fall on the floor and hurt yourself do we?"
"I guess not," I replied and took a seat. I signed my name on the contract before Jac took it away from me with the pen. The next thing I knew, the room seemed to have grown while my clothes were getting looser. I was changing into a child.
When the change was complete, Jac picked me up off the chair with me wrapped under my shirt, she slipped on a special pants and a white one piece on me under the shirt before taking me into another room to place me into a small bed with a clear frame around it like the ones they have in hospitals. I looked to my left to see another child in a bed and the same to my left.
"Cole I'll be back with your wife," Jac told me and then she was gone leaving me alone with the others. It wasn't long before Jac returned with my beautiful wife.
"So which one's mine?" the beauty asked in the sexiest voice I had ever heard.
"This one," Jac pointed at me and my wife's hazel brown eyes landed on mine, they went wide. Oh no! She doesn't like me, I must be a hideous child.
"He's gorgeous Jac," she told Jac. I guess she doesn't hate me after all.
"You're gorgeous," she told me. I smiled, she thinks I'm gorgeous.
"Can I hold him?" she asked Jac.
"Ask him," Jac said.
"Can I hold you?" she asked me with hope filled eyes. I immediately held my arms out to her and she scooped me up into her arms where I fit perfectly. I gazed into her eyes and she gasped.
"Why are his eyes blue? I thought Demons had black eyes?" she asked Jac.
"They do once they are fully grown adults but very young Demons have any eye colour except black," Jac explained.
"Cool, his blue eyes are nice," she looked into my eyes. "So what's his name?"
"Cole,"
"Cole it's nice to meet you, I'm Tegan," Tegan took my tiny hand in hers to shake it gently. Tegan and Cole sounds perfect.
"We should go into my office, there's some things we need to discuss before you can take Cole home," Jac said.
"Of course," Tegan said and began to lay me back down on the clear bed. I didn't want to leave her arms and found this annoying noise come out of my mouth.
"What's wrong? Why is he crying?" Tegan asked Jac nervously. Aww she loves me already but that noise doesn't sound like crying to me.
"I don't think he wants to leave your arms just yet," Jac said while that awful noise continued because I was no longer in Tegan's arms.
"Oh," Tegan took me back into her arms, the noise coming from my mouth immediately stopped before Jac walked to her office with Tegan and I behind her.
"So what do you want to discuss?" Tegan asked once they were both seated with me still in Tegan's arms.
"First of all, I would like to discuss your living arrangements. Now that you're married to Cole, you have to live together because it's in the contract. In your case, I think you should move in with Cole," Jac replied.
"I agree, I mean I live with humans and I doubt they would understand. My family would probably disown me if they found out that I am a Vampire,"
"I'll call Cole's friend Diago who will come here shortly and take you to your new home. While you are waiting, you can pack your things and bring them here,"
"Ok, can I leave Cole here while I do that?" Tegan asked but I didn't like the sound of Tegan leaving me there.
"Of course, I'll get someone to keep an eye on him until you get back," Jac held her arms out to hold me, Tegan was about to hand me over to her but then the annoying noise was back, I couldn't be away from Tegan for an hour. It would kill me.
"Cole I can't take you with me, I won't be gone long," Tegan told me softly but the noise level increased and wouldn't stop, Tegan sighed.
"It looks like I will have to take him with me," Tegan told Jac.
"Looks like you're right," Jac agreed when the noise died down.
"We'll be back in an hour," Tegan told Jac and the next thing I knew Tegan was running with her Vampire speed ability.
After who knows how long, Tegan stopped and I realised we were in a bedroom. I couldn't really see clearly because of my miniature form. I just saw a bed and Tegan laid me down onto it which caused the noise to start again.
"Cole I can't hold you and pack at the same time," Tegan said and the noise stopped because if she doesn't pack, she won't be coming home to live with me.
"Good boy, I'll be right here. I won't leave you alone," Tegan assured me before she began packing, running here and there with items but every few minutes she checked on me to see if I was ok.
A while later, I'm not sure how long but probably an hour later, Tegan was packed and ready to go. She picked me up into her arms, she held her suitcase by the handle and a gym bag. Then she began to run until we were back in Jac's office with the luggage.
"Tegan, Cole you're back. Diago is here and waiting outside for you," Jac said and opened the door to reveal Diago. Diago is tall and lean like me but I'm taller, he has Black hair and his eyes are obviously all black like every Demon. I'd say he is good looking but he is a player and can't seem to stay with just one girl, he's got a different girlfriend every week. He's tried to get me into his ways but I refused because I wanted to save myself for the one I married, that's what all Demons do except Diago. I'm glad I waited because I've finally met Tegan, my Life partner and soulmate.
"Hello there gorgeous, I'm Diago," Diago said as he took Tegan's hand to shake.
"Hello, I'm Tegan," Tegan replied before taking Diago's hand. This made me angry, Diago shouldn't be shaking my wife's hand. Diago must have seen the furious scowl on my face because he apologised with a
"Sorry Cole, I know she's your wife, I'll keep my distance,"
"Show me where your luggage is and I'll show you to your new home," Diago said to Tegan. Tegan showed him her luggage, Diago took the suitcase and gym bag in his hands.
"Wait," Jac stopped Tegan.
"Here's a copy of the contract. If you're not sure of anything then come back and see me or give me a call using the number in the contract," Jac told Tegan as she handed her a copy of the contract.
"Thanks," Tegan said before Jac walked away.
"I'm sorry Cole but Tegan has to hold onto me to get to your house," Diago told me as Tegan held his arm. I didn't like that but it was the quickest way to get home, all that running from earlier didn't really agree with my current form.
Thankfully a second later, we were home.
