"K-K?"
I almost choked calling his name because why on earth K would be standing in front of my door looking down on me, specifically on my chest, when he doesn't even know my address.
There's no way Sooha would've told him since she knows some bits and pieces that happened in my life, although not to the point where K and I had a past.
Basically she thinks I have a trauma against men and so she never brings anyone she ever dated to our shared home for my sake.
I closed my eyes and massaged my temples.
I figured this delusion is just a result of my current situation but he was still there when I opened them, now with amused smile plastered on his handsome face.
"(Y/N), sorry he had to bother you because I forgot my keys."
I flinched a bit when Sooha appeared behind him, carrying two shopping bags full of groceries.
"They offered to assist me on today's tea party and the costumers were very happy."
Sooha immediately explained why she brought a man to our house even if he was literally my acquaintance in the past. It was due to our oath with each other to protect ourselves from a possible home invasion.
I was about to react but I caught a glimpse of K holding two plastic bags, waiting for me to clear the path.
I stepped back then proceeded upstairs on my right to avoid him and prevent myself from contaminating the air altogether but a strong grip stopped me from my tracks.
"You still haven't drank your meds."
He glared and spoke with a slight frown on his smooth forehead.
I suddenly remembered everything about him in a series of flashbacks, the concerned simple gestures and worried eyebrows but sadly, all of those were just buried in my memories now and far from his current facial expressions so I wasn't able to respond quickly.
Sooha brought me back by interrupting our one-sided conversation.
"Yes, right. I'll just place the bags over the counter and make some drinks. What would you like to have?"
"Just water please."
K said while he freed my elbow and walked towards the couch like he owns the house.
I was a bit worried he might get sick by sitting on the same spot I just laid over earlier but no words want to come out of my mouth.
I can't even ask him why he's roaming around without a bodyguard and with a girl they just met because I feel like this is a fever dream and my delusional self doesn't want it to end.
So I just stood at the foot of the staircase and waited for it all to unfold. K was gazing around our humble abode but with occasional random smirks and scoffs.
It's like he's on his own world and I'm afraid if I escape he'd break my bedroom's door just to bring me back down here.
It's not even a baseless foundation.
K's body has been ripped ever since I met him because he was a marathon champion pre-debut but now this six-foot two inches tall man's shoulders got broader and his chest was thicker.
Even his neck is way more manlier with the lack of makeup to cover his light brown complexion.
Sooha came back to the living room carrying a plastic tray loaded with three glasses of water and a plate of bite-sized butter cookies.
"Sorry to keep you waiting."
Sooha smiled sweetly at him and he smiled back. She then handed me two capsules and helped me tilt the glass to flush them down my throat.
"You should take a rest for now. Do you want me to assist you to the bed?"
"It's fine. I can manage."
She just nodded and I started moving but my eyes are stuck on her walking to the couch and sitting right next him.
Unfortunately, my mind refuses to sleep despite my eyes have been closed for god knows how long because Sooha's giggles are searing into my brain through the sill under the wooden door.
I eventually decided to take a quick hot bath to relax my nerves and it finally did the trick. I drifted away without much effort, only to get pulled back by K's voice calling my name.
"(Y/N), answer me. Why did you do it?"
My eyes automatically opened yet there was no one else inside my bedroom.
