Kei, who’s already stepped out the shower and is drying herself, wraps the towel around her body as she replies, “I don’t want to Nadia. I just think we need to for the sake of our wellbeing.”
Nadia steps on the bath rug, her caramel skin glistening from the droplets of water that remain and those that drip from her loose chestnut curls. “Our wellbeing?” Her mouth forms into a smirk and she suddenly grabs Kei around her waist and pulls her towards her. “My wellbeing is secure as long as I have you by my side.”
The way Nadia’s smoldering moss green eyes focus on her with such satisfaction causes Kei to heat up, and not just from the steam left behind after their hot shower. As Nadia makes her move, Kei swiftly deflects her attack with a hand to her mouth. “I know, I feel the same, but there are other reasons for us to be careful.”
