“Hey, don’t we need to be getting to bed? We don’t want to be haggard from lack of sleep on our first day at Uni.”
Nadia finally takes notice of the sun, fully visible in the sky. “Oh, it’s already daybreak. You’re right. Will you be ok though? I know we kind of got distracted with our conversation, but I still want to know what happened. What was so shocking that it caused you to collapse that way? Something related to the money?”
“Um...yeah...something related. It wasn’t anything for you to worry about. She confirmed it wasn’t a mistake at least, so it’s definitely all mine. Though I’m not planning on using it soon.”
“I see.” Nadia gets the feeling she’s hiding something from her, but she also senses she’d better avoid bringing it up further for now. “Alright, well, if you’re sure you’re ok, then I guess I’ll head to bed now. Need anything before I go? I can make you some hot chocolate or tea maybe?”
