Immediately, she draws back her fist and punches them hard in their jaw, forcing them back and to the floor. They appear momentarily disoriented, not expecting such a sudden, strong reaction.
“What the fuck do you think you’re doing?!” she shouts as she hops up to her feet in a rage.
“Goddamn you can throw a punch!” They laugh, as though it was all a game.
Infuriated, Kei turns and attempts to leave through the door she entered from. However, she’s blocked. “Get out of my way! I’m leaving right this instant!” She attempts to push past them.
“I’m sorry, I’m sorry, okay? I had no right to steal a kiss from you like that. I just got swept up by the moment, you know? I felt like I’d finally met someone who understood how I’ve felt all these years. I’m sorry. I swear I won’t do it again. So please, sit back down. I still have more to tell you. If I try anything funny again, I give you permission to punish me as you see fit.”
