QUINCY’s POV
I stretch out my arms, then get off my bed. I looked outside, then saw the sun slowly rising.
“Good morning, your highness,” the priestess greeted me.
“Good morning… But why are you doing that? You are not a maid, but a priestess… are there no maids around?” I asked her as she tied the curtains.
“Maids have not yet been sent here from the capital, your highness… We don’t know what’s taking them so long, but they will arrive soon… For now, please bear with us, priestesses, to assist you while you stay here,” she said, then I nodded.
“Oh, Is my bath ready?” I asked.
“I will prepare them, your highness,” she said. She bowed down, then left my room.
I drank the tea that the priestess served before she left, then sat on the couch.
Someone knocked on the door.
“Your highness… it’s me, Crystal,” she said.
“Come in,” I said, then she entered my room.
“Did you sleep well last night?” I asked her. I served her tea and told her to take a seat.
