We are now in the imperial palace. The banquet had already started and everyone’s enjoying their time together with their friends and colleagues. I was called out by their majesty. That's why I walk on a separate path from the others.
“This way, your highness,” the Empress’s head lady-in-waiting told me as open the door. I sighed, then entered the room.
“I greet your majesties, may you be blessed by our guardians,” I curtsied.
“Rise, my dear… and kindly take a seat,” I heard the empress say. I raised my head and saw that the crown prince was here as well.
I composed myself as I walked towards the seat in front of the emperor and the empress. I sat beside the crowned prince, then looked at them.
