Kate made her way back to the courtyard and stopped in her tracks when she spotted Athena elegantly and fluidly training with her spear. She moved so quickly that Kate wasn't able to see the spear but she could a brush of air each time it was spun. Athena was so focused that she didn't notice Kate standing there until she placed her foot on the courtyard ground. As Kate's foot touched the ground Athena spun with her spear nearly gutting Kate who froze hands up and a glare on her face.
"I am sorry Kate," Athena said straightening herself and her spear, "I didn't know it was you at first."
"Huh," the Mother said thoughtfully, "That is odd."
"What is odd?" Kate asked.
"I believe Hekate is referring to the fact that I did not know it was you," Athena said looking at her forehead, "I am fine Hekate, my powers are fine, I was just thinking is all."
"I believe you, Athena," the Mother said, "I just find it odd since I remember when you could tell who was approaching days in advance."
