Kate woke with a start and looked around her, thankfully she was still alone on the patio. She took a minute to regain her bearings before she got to her feet and found a chair to sit in.
"But why?" she asked, Hekate didn't respond right away. Kate knew it was hard to explain but why would she give anyone that kind of power over her.
"Zeus was the new King of the Gods, he had already sent some of my family to Tatarus, the ones who fought against him in the war," the Mother explained.
"We trusted him," the Maiden continued, "We trusted him to keep his oath to us, and we knew Vulcan and Hermes would have no way of breaking their oath without Zeus' power reacting badly for them."
"Okay," Kate thought for a moment, "But then how does Ares know about it?"
"I would guess he and Hera ripped the truth from him," the Crone said angrily, "Hera never liked it when Zeus kept secrtes from her."
"So what does this mean?"
