Mr Parker and Asher glanced to and fro from me to Ana because the situation was so confusing,and these reaction was expected from them.
Yeah! Janette was meeting Mr Parker for the first time and Ana never told Janette about him in their five years of friendship ,on the otherhand Ana was staring at Janette with a dumbfounded expression
"Wait! You both know eachother." Mr Parker spoke after a long time,Asher cross his and over his chest indicating her to explain.
"Yeah! She's or I say used to be my bestfriend." Ana spoke and Janette was shocked hearing those hurtful words .
Friendship was most important thing for Janette,and her friendship with Ana was a sweet bliss,it was like a dream which she never wanted to end ,they both knew each and everything about one another ofcourse apart from the fact that Janette is not Cameron's daughter ,because she recently discovered that and since then she hadn't meet Ana,so she never got a chance to explain herself neither she can because it's Robert Stark's strict orders that no one ,apart from Cameron and Stark family discover about that.
Janette couldn't help but felt a slight pain in her heart,she found herself losing control she felt drizzy but before she'd lose her balance Asher caught her hand to support her ,from other side Ana caught her hand and they both together made her take the chair beside her. "Do,how many times I've warned you that don't skip your dinner " Ana whispered in a worried tone while handling her a glass of water,she took it and gulped it down.
Asher was rubbing her back all this while,both of the men was trying to understand the weird relationship between them because they just doesn't have any slightest idea about Janette's tricky life ,it took Janette exactly fifteen minutes to regain her strength."Are you okay?" Asher and Ana asked her in unison manner,she nodded .She was okay physically but sick mentally,thinking about the current events brought nothing but headache to her.
"I think Mr Norman it'd be best if we postpone this meeting for another day." Mr Parker said but Janette assured them that she's ok now so they ordered breakfast and sat together,and the silence after waiter left was awkward.
"So,Ana how come you and Mrs Norman know eachother." Mr Parker broke the silence.
"It's been five long years but we are not here ,to discuss my relationship with her Edward." she warned him and he seemed to understand.
"Mrs Norman about how long you know your husband huh? That you care not to invite your one and only bestfriend to your wedding." She asked and Janette found Asher shifting her in his seat ,moreover she wasn't still in stable position to go back and remember her awful life.When none of them spoke Ana gave her a disapproving look and rolled her eyes.
"Nevermind" she mumbled and crossed her hands over her chest ,all this while watching her with hurtful eyes,she hasn't have to be so clear infront of these two men ,I was hurt too when she doesn't told me about her fiance,Janette thought and looked at the ground never thought that a day like this would come in their friendship. Ignoring the past reveries of these women inorder to improve the atmosphere of the room Asher and Edward being talking about the business ,Ana started scrolling through her phone and Janette was just glaring at the ground at times when their eyes meet Ana would roll her eyes and continue her business,Janette felt the need to cry her heart out,"Was there friendship so weak?"
She asked Asher to excuse her while he asked her if she needed him to assist her but that will make the situation more worse so she assured him that she's fine
leaving her clutch on the table ,she made her way towards the washroom .
Tears were already pouring out of her eyes as she made her way through the washroom, "Why this had to be so hard?" she whispered while sniffing , she wiped her tears as she realised that it took her time here ,it will not take longer for Asher to show up here .She stood up and washed her face ,her makeup was spoiled but she was least interested in that.
She too never told me that she had a fiance whenever I asked about her current relationships she'd speck after a long silence and say that she's none . I'd have surely told her if I met Asher that time but she just doesn't felt the need to discuss that with me.
If I hurt her,she too equally hurt me ,if she doesn't consider me as her friend anymore and she doesn't have too because I just don't want to be friends with those who jump to conclusions without hearing explanations of their friends .Janette consoled herself and that appears to be working because no one can console her better than she did to herself again leaving Mrs Cameron an exception. She sighed and decided to bring back her confidant aura,no one can hurt her if she doesn't want to."I have to gave Ana the taste of her own pill." She made her way towards the place where three of them were sitting,she knew that it's going to be difficult but she has to do that to hide the truth from everyone and save her family.
Because Asher Norman can't know that she's not Robert Stark's daughter if he did then she just doesn't have an idea what will be his next step but one thing is clear that it'd not be a good news for Stark .Janette was completely sure that she wasn't his daughter even if she resembles him so much because he wouldn't have kept her away from him for so long while showering his love to his other kids .First she has to discover that who're her real parents are same as Eric's parents or are they both someone else. She reached the table and Asher turned around as she kept her hand on his shoulder to show off her wedding ring to her friend.
He took the hold of her hand and planted a kiss on her knuckles ,she couldn't help but blush crept upon her cheeks ,she just couldn't define as to why she feels butterflies erupting in her stomach whenever he touches her, why she feels so shy whenever he glanced at her,why she feels happy whenever he cares for her and she can't define innumerable things that happen with her when he's around.
But right now she was using him to show off ,she knew that it wasn't right but he married her to show her off all his life ,so why can't she do that for today
