"Things are getting more difficult than I've imagined them to be." Asher found himself, walking back and forth thinking about the events that have been going on in his life from the day Janette entered his life.
I literally kissed my enemy's daughter that too for the second time. The first was obviously for the show but the second one was real, Asher slammed his hands on the wooden table. And he sat on his chair with his right hand on his forehead supported by the table.
I just don't know why I got scared when she was out of the house the whole morning, she's spoiled maybe she went to shopping or to the club, "Why on earth I asked Mart her whereabouts?" Asher found himself thinking. "Did I took the wrong decision?"
It's been six hours since that kiss happened and still, Asher was sitting in his library instead of going inside his room to sleep Reigna too wasn't at home today. He let out a sigh and got up from his chair "It's late midnight she must've been asleep by now."
He went to his room and coincidentally his assumption was proved to be correct as he was rewarded by soft snores as he entered the room, the night light was opened and her hairs were spread on the pillow under her head, she appeared to be like a goddess.
He couldn't help but sit near her admiring her beauty, "She's so beautiful" the voice in his head said he kept his hand on her cheek and brushed the strands of hairs from her face. He brought his face close to her and left a small kiss on her temple.
"Forget your revenge and start a real relationship with her" the voice continued.
"What how can I forget my revenge?" he distanced himself from her but found her small hand holding his wrist.
"Don't go," she said in her sleep he sighed and freed his hand from her and was about to leave towards the shower but changed his mind as he saw a very familiar necklace kept on the nightstand.
"It belonged to Rose", his eyes widened as he picked it up. "What it's doing here?" he started examining it and finds a photo of two very familiar people.
"Katherine and Roger Stark" these two people were a very important part of his life as they both took care of him and his brother Blake when his parents were out, Rose and Eric's parents.
"What it is doing here," he thought but he remembered Eric was gifting it to Janette on their wedding day. At that time they were standing very far away from him but he saw Eric making her wear this.
Moreover, Eric relationship with Janette is good as compared to Robert Stark's other kinds does that mean Janette is Rose, Asher assumed.
"But how can she be Rose isn't Rose dead." He mumbled to himself while playing with the heart pendant and watching Janette's sleeping face.
"Is this explains the reason that she resembles Aunt Katherine ?"
"If Janette turns out to be Rose, I'd hate myself for hurting her so much, because Rose is one of the main reason that I married Jane."
"Don't think negative." he chanted it like a mantra, he kept the necklace back to its place and went towards the shower to cool himself down.
"Eric holds the answers to all my questions."
