sitting on the dining table, Aurora didn't show any sign of what she was feeling to them. She kept a blank expression filling her cheeks with little bits of the dinner she was served a while. go after they got married. Aurora, though she never attended many weddings in her life, she knew that the wedding she just experienced right now was more than a business deal and not a wedding... she could hear the men laughing and talking as she felt the man whom she got married to, his eyes, locked on her, and this itself made her nervous, but she refused to show it, she refused to show her weakness, she'd rather be acting all emotionless and even look angry for that matter but refuse to show her weakness to this damn lord called Sebastian... Sebastian on the other hand, was looking at her, eyes focused on her without moving them away from her, the way he was looking at her, it was as if he was capturing every angle, every curve of her face, not missing a single line untouched by his eyes and slowly keeping her image of her beautiful young face close and sorted deep in his mind, not to forget anything. his hands were folded as his head rested on top. of his knuckles, looking, staring at that peaceful sky with a dangerous storm. coming ahead.
lord Samuel noticed how lord Sebastian was staring at his niece as if he was scared that the moment his gaze left her face, she would disappear. He smirked and cleared his throat a couple of times before he said
"My lord, why are you not having anything? since the food has been served on your plate, you haven't even moved a folk, let alone eat... or.... Is she enough to smother your hunger? " That question hit both of them, Aurora was busy chewing a piece of meat that she grabbed on the plate when she stopped... seeing her reaction, Sebastian finally averted his gaze from her and focused on something else... which was her uncle, Lord Samuel.
Lord Samuel stared at Sebastian with a huge smile on his face before he started feeling uncomfortable as he said nothing to him while just staring at him.. with a weirdly terrifying smirk on his face.
he couldn't keep up with the strong intensive gaze from Sebastian, he weirdly laughed and said "There's no need to get so worked up over nothing my lord, I was just trying to avert your gaze my lord and focus on dinner, because, I'd feel downhearted if you won't even touch a single piece of the food we served for you" Sebastian finally stared at the plate and finally answered the man " Lets just say... am too stuffed. "
"Stuffed my lord? but you've been travelling for three days just to get here, so how come..." Sebastian looked at him and answered with that smirk on his face."Are you trying to say that you think I haven't eaten anything for the past 3 days? "
" Well, that can't be possibly what I mean... " Sebastian smirked, widen, and answered." I know you're just trying to take good care of your niece's husband, but... don't worry, I ate enough for the past three days, and right now, I am stuffed"
" Well, if you say so..so now my lord... let's talk about more confidential matters. " The moment he mentioned it, Sebastian smirk vanished as he looked at Aurora. he stared at her before telling one of the maids to take her away. Aurora left the men on the dining table as she was taken away to the gardens of her uncle's mansion.
The night was dark, and none of the stars appeared us the sky was covered with dark clouds.. the only light that was lighting up everything, was the light from the mansion, other than that, no light was seen, but only from a far was the light from the town close to their mansion were seen.
Aurora could feel what the sky was trying to say to the world. the dark sky with its stormy looking clouds was just like the storm she felt I her heart. as her heart pained, she remembered her parents. She was a hundred per cent sure that if her parents were here, she would've never gotten married at such a young age. she stared up before filling something wet falling from her eyes. she looked away and slowly approached the tears that were falling beneath her eyes before she rubbed them. away so that no one could see her tears... This wasn't the marriage she wanted, this is not a love marriage, this is an arranged marriage, or even a business deal, and the fact that she was chased out from the dining table, was enough to prove her pont that this was a business deal and not a marriage.
she got caught up by the sudden carriage that stopped in front of their mansion, followed by four other more.
then she heard people from her back and turned, only to see that the servants in the mansion were taking her belongings to the carriages outside. she looked at them as they took them away, one by one, that's when she finally accepted that she no longer belonged to this place, a second place which she considered as her home, she was leaving it, once more. and this fact caused that painful lump that she was trying to ignore from a very long time from her throat ached again, and tears threatened to be shed... but before they could shed again, that voice stopped her and caused her to freeze.
"I think it's time for us to leave...."
Aurora turned and saw him, with that serious face of his looking at her, gazing at her with those dark black moon orbs. Aurora felt like words were stuck on her throat. She didn't want to leave. She wanted to at least wait for til tomorrow, or better yet, to say goodbye to his uncle... she looked at the back of Sebastian and saw no one other than the maids and servants that were there to send her away and the five men who were now making their way to the five carriages. her heart ached as a bitter smile formed on her face and quickly faded before to be noticed by him... but as if he read her mind, he said
"You're uncle is busy dealing with some other papers that I came with for him to sign, and he also said that he's too tired to come out here, especially with this cold weather, so... he wanted me to send his greetings to you on his behalf.."
Aurora never said anything. She just sighed after being told the harsh information, then she nodded her head, accepting everything. seeing she accepted it, he told her, "Lead the way,"
