The door materialized, just as I knew it would. Acacius and Elmyria had seen the door the night before, so they weren't at all surprised by it. However, those on the other side of the door looked terrified.
When I stepped through onto their side, I'm certain they had all been expecting Erebos and his crew of maniacs. Although, they didn't look too relieved to see that it was me either.
"Hello, everyone." I smiled and nodded at them. "I am sure most of you know who I am."
"You're the one the old gods chose to take over." An angry voice called from the distance. "You're the reason all of this happened."
