I still had a few demons to see. Three to be exact. And I intended to get through them as quickly as possible. I had a feeling that a lot of them were like Val. If they didn't join with Erebos and the others, they would have been on the receiving end of the attacks. They did the only thing they could to survive.
At least, that had been my initial response. The next demon I interrogated, a bland looking demon with gray skin, black hair, and red eyes, could not stop spouting profanity laced obscenities at me. It was nonstop. And frankly, most of them made no sense at all. He was just screaming anything and everything he could to get the words out there.
While Lex and I sat in our chairs, watching the demon scream and rant for more than five minutes, I thought of ways to make the man shut up. I didn't want to hurt him, but clearly he wasn't interested in communication.
