My entire hand was engulfed in Lex's. When he wrapped his hand around mine, it only showed how much bigger he was than me. And instead of making me feel too small, or dwarfed by him, it just made me feel safe, and protected when he was with me. Lex would always put me first. He had for fourteen years, and now he would continue for the rest of our lives.
"Where should we go first?" Lex aske me. "Neither of us have been here before."
"Well, let's find some rides." I grinned at him. "This should be fun."
"I've never ridden anything like this before. Are they fun?" He was right. He'd gone with me to the amusement parks in the past, but I rode the rides with my family. All Lex had done was watch.
"They are very fun." I said as I looked around. "There are a lot of rides here. Let's find something to try first."
