CJ had wanted to talk about the entire situation when we got home that night. He wanted to tell the others that we had found where his mate lived. How we planned to go there the next morning to see her, to make sure that he had the chance to see her and meet her. It was a lot for him to tell the others.
And it was a lot for me to just sit there and pretend that I wasn't affected by the whole thing.
I mean, just how much was I supposed to endure? How much was I going to suffer and go through, just to make sure that no one else that I knew and cared about had to suffer. And why did I have to be the type of person that made sure everyone else was happy above myself? Just why? That was the only thing that was going through my head that night, as we sat there with the others, talking excitedly about how Reagan and CJ had smelled their mates at the campus again.
