Rika and Westin assured me that going on this date with Warrick tonight was alright. They told me that there was nothing at all for me to worry about. They didn't want me to become so upset as I investigated what was happening on the campus.
Taking time for yourself and the people that matter to you was something that Rika had learned from her parents. She had seen them go in both directions. I had seen it as well, but as an outsider, not as a member of their family.
