Lady Sophia stepped into the tent of Queen Mother Oda and was taken aback to see Ragnar standing there as well.
The two guards gave a respectful bow to the queen mother before they exited the tent. Sophia felt Ragnar's eyes on her as they stood silently and waited.
Inside the tent, there was a large table with a map and terrain contours in the center. It was a map of the kingdom of Cescil. Ragnar and Crown Prince Navarro Pynsia stood facing each other, each at the other end of the table.
The atmosphere was tense, and the air seemed thick with the arguments that might have taken place before she arrived.
