Grace was left speechless, unable to find the words to respond. She could only manage a scoff as she stared at Mark lying on the bed, appearing lost in a drugged haze. Grace was certain that Noah had given him something to induce this behaviour.
"Why? Did you just see a ghost? You look too pale," Noah taunted, a subtle smirk playing on his lips. Grace's gaze slowly rose, her glare piercing into Noah's eyes as she mustered her anger and irritation.
"You are willing to stoop this low just because you don't want to reconcile?" she questioned, her voice quivering with a combination of anger and frustration.
"Nope," Noah replied, shaking his head. "I am willing to go even lower just to show you what I am capable of." He took a step closer. "I warned you before, don't touch her..." His words hung heavy in the air, leaving Grace's heart trembling with fear and uncertainty.
