"No record?" Noah stared at Matthew, seeking confirmation of the information he had just received. "Car? House? None is under her name?"
Matthew nodded, his face filled with guilt for losing track of Sarah. "I've checked everything, and there is no property under her name."
Noah furrowed his brow and leaned forward, unsatisfied with the result. Holding onto his forehead, he sighed, "Why did you lose her yesterday," he mumbled through gritted teeth.
Matthew immediately bowed his head, offering his sincere apology. "I am deeply sorry about that, sir. I promise it won't happen again," he said, gulping anxiously, fearing Noah's anger might explode.
Ended up sighing, Noah stood up. "Drive me to the hotel where Elijah is staying," he instructed.
Hastily moving towards the door, Matthew opened the hotel room's door for Noah as he saw him already walking forward.
