Sarah quickly moved away from Noah's body, her face reddened with embarrassment over what had just happened.
"Dad!" The cute voice of Aurora came from above, startling them.
Sarah looked puzzled. She rushed upstairs and crouched in front of Aurora, asking, "Why aren't you sleeping?"
Suddenly pouting, Aurora hugged Sarah's neck, "I had a bad dream…" she said, leaning her head on Sarah's shoulder.
"What dream?" Noah came over shortly after and squatted beside them.
With a concerned expression, Sarah gently stroked Aurora's hair, "It's okay, baby. Tell us about your dream."
Aurora hesitated for a moment before speaking softly, "I dreamt that you and daddy were fighting, and I was scared."
