Scott's expression changed instantly. He didn't know how to respond to that. He had believed all this time that Sarah didn't have a husband. It had been a year since he had observed her, and he had never seen her with the man who had just introduced himself as her husband.
"I told you to close this store and go back home with me. I could open ten stores like this if you want," Noah half whispered.
Sarah turned and frowned, her eyes questioning 'when' in response to Noah's earlier statement.
"I'm sorry for the misunderstanding, Mr. Scott," Noah quickly checked the name card, "Scott, right?" He flashed a forced smile. "You know, my wife and I have a long-distance relationship because she's so determined to stay in this peaceful city. Maybe I should consider opening multiple branches here to avoid situations like this," he gestured with his finger in front of Scott. "What I meant is, it's quite uncomfortable for me when someone approaches my wife like that."
