Ace watched from the window, sighing.
He walked to the side and sat down, pulling up his shirt, revealing a huge gash on his torso. From the middle of his ribcage to the right waist. It was covered by cards and Ace peeled them off, groaning.
He reverted his staff and ran his hands over the wound, leaning on the wall as the wound healed slowly. He closed his eyes and let out a breath as somebody spoke to him, "Hello! I'm Korg, wanna join my revolution? Could be fun and we have snacks."
Ace replied "No that's alright." the rock man, Korg, nodded and said "Well, that's a shame, but if you change your mind, all you need to do is call me and we'll getcha a spot no problem."
Ace nodded and coughed as Korg walked away, asking another person if they wanted to join.
Ace turned his head to the side and said "Well, well, well. You did make it." Loki revealed himself and snorted "Just barely. Were you all trying to leave me behind?" Ace rolled his eyes, turning back as he replied "I'm sure you would've lived. This what… the third time?"
Loki snorted and Ace asked "Where's the artifacts?" Loki turned his head, saying "I don't know what you're talking about." Ace looked at him, sneering "As if you would go to the treasure vault and not take anything! Come on, hand 'em over." as he held out his hand.
Loki frowned and said "I am the Prince of-" Ace interrupted him, "Formerly." Loki froze and Ace added, "I'll tell Thor." Loki narrowed his eyes and Ace smiled widely. Loki grumbled and handed over the artifacts unwillingly.
There was the Casket of Ancient Winters, Tuning Fork, Tablet of Life and Time, Warlock's Eye, and a golden Gauntlet.
Ace looked at the Gauntlet and said "Fake." as it crumbled to dust, he looked at the others and hummed "Cool!" putting them in his personal space dimension.
Loki crossed his arms, saying "That's all." Ace looked at him and Loki said in a bad mood "I swear!" Ace held out his hand and Loki grinded his teeth, putting Gungnir in Ace's hand.
Ace looked at him and curled his fingers as Loki glared at him, putting black swords in his hand, saying "That's all, really!" Ace grinned at him and tilted his head, Loki pointed at Ace, saying angrily "I can't have anything!?"
Ace rolled his eyes and said "You give me whatever else and keep 1 thing." Loki clenched his fists and put a bunch of things in Ace's hands.
There was a thick branch, a big piece of flames, Valkyrie's sword, Thor's pendant, Odin's eyepatch, a piece of Surtur's sword, a piece of Surtur's crown, a big piece of Uru metal, Sif's sword, etc.
Ace was stunned and looked at Loki saying "Shame on you." Loki rolled his eyes and said "Now begone! I have nothing left for you. Greedy wizard!" Ace snorted and put everything that wasn't fake in his personal space, replying "I'm not using any of it! It's all for research and display."
Loki sneered, "Sure." Ace rolled his eyes replying "Believe what you want. I'm telling you the truth. I want to be a magic historian, why would I use the artifacts? It's only for recording history." Loki glanced at him and asked "How did you even get to Asgard anyway?"
Heimdall stood in front of Ace, saying "I would like to know as well. How did you summon the Bifrost?" Ace grabbed the air and showed Heimdall the staff.
Heimdall looked at it and said in surprise "Nidavellir?" Ace smiled and said "Not that great… I received Dwarven Secrets, it can summon the Bifrost, but… Only the person holding the staff will be transported. Even if you hug me, only I will disappear."
Heimdall sighed and shook his head, "Unfortunate. Otherwise we could skip this journey!" Ace said "Sorry." Heimdall smiled and patted his chest, saying "It's alright. You came to our aid once again."
Ace shook his head and sighed "I really didn't do anything. Hela was strong… Too strong!" Thor walked over and nodded, "Truly, but she's gone now. Say, Ace, do you think Earth would take us?"
Ace looked at Thor and frowned, "Well, it would, the only problem is-" Loki crossed his legs and leaned his elbow on Ace, cutting him off, "The mortals are quite problematic, I've heard."
Ace took Loki's elbow off his shoulder, adding "Right. Recently the government attacked the Avengers." Thor was confused and replied "Surely they failed? Mortals cannot beat the Avengers!"
Loki looked at him saying in annoyance, "No, you oaf. The mortals didn't physically attack them!" Ace nodded, "They basically wanted to rule over the Avengers and command them." Thor was stunned and said "There's such a thing?!"
Ace nodded and sighed "Steve and Tony were on opposite sides and the team was split in half. Now there's the Secret Avengers and normal Avengers, oh there's a Panther guy too." Thor frowned, "These mortals are they fools or what?"
Loki rolled his eyes, replying "You expect the mortals to allow your Avengers to run around without trying to control them? The mortals are foolish, they do not understand power. Heh, if it was me-"
Thor rolled his eyes, smiling "You would've killed the mortals?" Loki choked on his words and Thor chuckled, "That's why you're not liked on Earth." Ace coughed, "Also, you tried to rule over Earth with aliens, that didn't help…"
Loki glared at him and Thor clapped "So it's settled, we shall go to Earth. If the mortals wish to control us, I will scare them." Ace looked at him and asked "How long until we get there?"
Heimdall looked up before saying "23 months." Ace froze and said "No, no, no. I can't stay on this ship. I'm sorry." Thor nodded and smiled "Not to worry, my friend. We will meet again soon! I promise!"
Ace smiled and nodded, Heimdall smiled "Thank you, Knight." Ace waved and smiled "Not a problem! Anytime. Call me if you need me." before stabbing the blade into the floor, turning it as a rainbow pillar took him away, the hole reforming as he left.
Loki muttered "Bastard…" Thor looked at him and smiled "My stupid brother! You took something from me?" Loki was startled and turned to see, Thor's pendant, and a few other things laying there with a floating word 'Gotcha~'
Loki cursed, "That bastard Wizard!"
Ace landed in his house and looked around, Sharon ran over and her eyes lit up, "Ace!" he smiled and said "Miss me?" Sharon hugged him and replied "I was worried." Ace hugged her and smiled "Didn't see like it."
Sharon squeezed tighter, "I didn't want you to worry about me." Ace kissed her head and smiled "I love you." she giggled and kissed his lips, replying "Me too~" Ace chuckled and whispered "Where were we?"
Sharon jumped on him, wrapping her legs around his waist, "Right about here~" he chuckled and they disappeared.
