TOME 10 PART 58; THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A 'FOOL' AND AN 'IDIOT'
DAGARA PROVERB
(DISCLAIMER; Only Read this...if you are a totally underlevelled character...it is a Death Sentence to OP Characters).
"It is never a 'crime' to be 'intellectually bankrupt' but it is a 'Perfect Crime' to be 'intellectually perfect' but 'absolutely oblivious'.
An 'idiot' is one who is 'unaware' of a 'facet of reality', a 'fool knows full well what reality is...but chooses to be indifferent to it'.
An 'idiot' is one who writes an 'equation' that produces the 'wrong answer' but 'his answer will always correspond to the formula he applied'; a 'fool' is one who 'applies' the 'Formula Perfectly'...but still produces the 'wrong result'.
An 'idiot' may have 'never had a day of certified formal education in his life' but still knows how to 'navigate the slums' without being 'stabbed to death'. A 'fool' has 'whole 'Display Case' full of Medals' that commemorate 'his accomplishments' but cannot 'walk a single metre in the slums without dying on the spot'.
It is one thing to keep 'Skeletons In The Closet'; it is another thing to keep them in a 'Display Case'. Transparency is always the best...but not when you exhibit this to the one who is out for your Demise.
It is one thing to know the 'Formulae' around which the 'Laws Of Physics, Chemistry and Biology' operate. It is another thing to 'understand what 'Reality' is all about'.
